This demo has more effects and enjoyment than Hoaxers' reu demos imho. The letters forming like the Alien movie is really cool plus the great spacey bg gfx. Morphing objects part looks great.
The aging girl, then falling below the earth symbolizing death and the guillotine pic are all unsettling, so job well done there on the horror aspect.
Last part is epic; shadowed bobs and facehugger and the gorgeous skeleton pic.
More quality like this please, Hoaxers. I wasn't particularly impressed with the reu demos (except for Joe's art and the SIDs) but this demo blows my socks off. | User Comment Submitted by prowler on 11 September 2016 User Comment Submitted by user on 23 March 2015
Awesome demo, i really like the horror/alien atmosphere. Thanks for this superb production guys. | User Comment Submitted by Axis/Oxyron on 19 November 2014
Underrated demo. Sad to see that this kind of dark horror style concepts always fail on parties. But me likes! | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 17 November 2014
Fantastic demo! Loved the egg / shadow balls (looks so good!) and Joe's artwork. | User Comment Submitted by N3XU5 on 7 November 2014
Enjoyed the show here so much! The whole demo feels like watching a trailer for a new upcoming Alien movie! Cool effects, awesome music and kick ass gfx! Best part for me in this one is the alien egg with bob shadows. very nice idea and a pleasure to watch. :) | User Comment Submitted by Bob on 4 November 2014

Three C64 demos from up north little Norway at X-2014 ? That can't be for real.
When I saw that intro scrolling by I thought, "damn, I wish we had something like that in our intro." | User Comment Submitted by finchy on 2 November 2014
Awesome artwork. Oh, and you got me with that scream, didn't see it coming :D | User Comment Submitted by Clarence on 29 October 2014

We knew Hoaxers was back, but now they are really upping their game. Improving in all areas and with the joining of Joe, you have gold in your hands. Cant wait to see what the future will bring!
Very nice soundtrack too! | User Comment Submitted by Ray Manta on 29 October 2014
Awesome art from Joe and overall a really great design-aesthetic with this one. Solid tune as well! | User Comment Submitted by rez on 29 October 2014
BHF: thank a lot for your answer!
btw, I will try to contact him directly, I hope he is visiting here time to time :) | User Comment Submitted by Morpheus on 29 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by BHF on 28 October 2014
Thanks for your kind comments :)
@iAN CooG : thats correct, Response made 1-4 and the last one was made by Codex.
@Rez : This is a brand new SID made by Codex for this demo. He made it on his synths back in the 90´s, but not on the c64. Last time he made SID´s was back in 1989 before he joined Razor 1911 and stopped his c64 activity. | User Comment Submitted by rez on 28 October 2014
ERMAHGERD! CODEX? :D
It's a new tune for real? or a cover of an old one? :D | User Comment Submitted by Slator on 28 October 2014
a very nice surprise seeing this after some small delay :-D great stuff, really enjoyed watching this demo. Very nice storyline, some cool effects, solid music and awesome gfx, the vertical endpic by joe is such a beauty. wowser, top notch demo. thanks hoaxers for this one | User Comment Submitted by Beastifire on 27 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by Stinsen on 27 October 2014
Really liked this one, nice unsettling feeling (especially the face part). And beautiful end part, loved the Codex tune and of course the massive graphics. :) | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 27 October 2014
Quite wonderful - too bad Firehawk couldn't be at the party. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 27 October 2014
PS: when that globe in the intro came scrolling I almost shit my pants - it just looked so fantastic that globe and the start was mind blasting. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 October 2014
let me guess, 1st 4 tunes by Response, 5th by Codex?
also, "import" credit for a demo? wtf :D | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 27 October 2014
Very nice demo with coherent style in gfx/music. Great! | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 27 October 2014
At the party I liked this demo almost the most of all the great demos, it is a fantastic demo. And I must add that the rotating bob sprites with shadow on the egg is brilliant and looked like hollywood effect on the big screen. | User Comment Submitted by grasstust on 27 October 2014
I just wanna complement the great people I worked together with on this project! Mainly 4 people busted their asses to make this production within the time we had, and what a fun ride it was! Cheers, until next time! | User Comment Submitted by Deev on 26 October 2014
I never get bored of Joe's geometric patterns and I particular like that intro pic. | User Comment Submitted by taper on 26 October 2014
