"Coder colour" setup from a graphician, now I'm surprised ;) | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 6 July 2015
That isnt a winvice cap. currently only 2.4 is even CLOSE to what a c64 looked like in reality. everything below 2.4 uses a very badly under saturated palette which makes it look like you are looking a a badly adjusted/buggered monitor by default. IF you are persisting with older Vice versions then go to the video settings and set saturation to 1.25 (default 1.0) and Contrast to 1.25 (default 1.0) then it will match 2.4. if 2.4 isnt as colourful as you remember it then increase the saturation level in small increments. | User Comment Submitted by aNdy on 6 July 2015 User Comment Submitted by chriz74 on 6 July 2015
The colors don't look anything like that on windvice. Are you using a different palette? Which one? | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 6 July 2015
Amazing work Steven. keep cool | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 6 July 2015
When you compare it with the original C64 game pic this is so much better! Great stuff! | User Comment Submitted by Mase on 5 July 2015
@STE, Now that you mention it... | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 5 July 2015 User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 5 July 2015
they aren't wings Mase, they never were even in the original, its the body of the snake boss I just had no room left for his head :) | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 5 July 2015 User Comment Submitted by Mase on 5 July 2015
The only thing I would say is you kept the wings of the demon from the original title pic while changing it to the final Astaroth boss who has no wings. But details, details... Otherwise still a fantastic pic. | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 5 July 2015 User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 5 July 2015
released for completeness only to complement the Commando loader. Based on the Steve Pickford Amstrad loader and the Capcom Ghosts n Goblins arcade flyer art. |
