That isnt a winvice cap. currently only 2.4 is even CLOSE to what a c64 looked like in reality. everything below 2.4 uses a very badly under saturated palette which makes it look like you are looking a a badly adjusted/buggered monitor by default. IF you are persisting with older Vice versions then go to the video settings and set saturation to 1.25 (default 1.0) and Contrast to 1.25 (default 1.0) then it will match 2.4. if 2.4 isnt as colourful as you remember it then increase the saturation level in small increments.

The colors don't look anything like that on windvice. Are you using a different palette? Which one?

they aren't wings Mase, they never were even in the original, its the body of the snake boss I just had no room left for his head :)

The only thing I would say is you kept the wings of the demon from the original title pic while changing it to the final Astaroth boss who has no wings. But details, details... Otherwise still a fantastic pic.
