Trident: There are some nice auroras in Jamtland too. ;) | User Comment Submitted by trident on 8 January 2023 User Comment Submitted by HBH.ZTH on 9 September 2021
Snacksy Grafix. 1st class. | User Comment Submitted by Remdy on 27 August 2021
It's beautiful, but it's crashing on my 64c, it works fine on my breadbin though If I kill fc3... | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 4 October 2020
This is so top notch demo.
BD created the masterpiece, again.
Please, never stop amaze us! | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 16 June 2020
I like how this demo is more about style than coding. While the style seems to have stemmed from heavy char-mode and color restrictions for the artists to actually enable this "cheap" layering.
and everything Mermaid said :) | User Comment Submitted by DivertigO on 5 March 2020
Unprecedented. Thank you. | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 5 March 2020
Absolutely lovely production with extraordinary graphics and the ultimate low-fidelity last-minute music as a contrast. What a blow. Wonderful aurora borealis motives, I enjoyed these very much. Thank you. | User Comment Submitted by Garvin on 5 March 2020
That certainly was a treat for the ears and eyes. Awesome work guys! | User Comment Submitted by Hammerfist on 21 February 2020
I honestly think this is my new favorite demo! Lots of design here and it all works so well togther! Love the palette choices, art, music, code... thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by anonym on 17 February 2020
What a piece of art. So enjoyable, so moody, so stylish. Thanks! | User Comment Submitted by Visage on 16 February 2020
excellent design, very enjoyable piece of art! | User Comment Submitted by grip on 15 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 14 February 2020
Lovely multicolour char mode pictures in the middle, it's not easy to make char mode pics look good and even harder with the added restrictions forced on you to make foreground/background priority work with the sprites.
The bitmap pics and music are great, sweet snow effect + scrollers + northern lights, neat dir art as well.
I enjoyed the atmosphere throughout the demo - a well deserved win! | User Comment Submitted by Bob on 13 February 2020
I guess this means Scroll Wars II ;) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 13 February 2020
Great stuff! Coding is best! | User Comment Submitted by JAYCE - THE MiNiSTRY on 11 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Dane on 11 February 2020
It’s heartwarming to see that people enjoy this rather rushed production. Two weeks before the party it was a bunch of proof-of-concept previews and not much more. I guess we work at our best when we’re hours away from a deadline.. :)
For me personally it was satisfying to finally get the music finished and released at last. I’ve been playing the theme on my piano for more than a year, but it wasn’t until I tried doing it in a 3/4 time signature that it started sounding right on c64.
Thanks again for positive feedback - and see you in the next Booze demo! | User Comment Submitted by El Jefe on 11 February 2020
excellent exposition of fantastic scrollers ... fabulous screens, close to perfect soundtrack (!!!) Thanx to all guys involved in this release ... love it so much!! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 10 February 2020

@raistilin I think it’s fair to mention HCL’s new (almost) FLI-bugg free 80x50 mode with compact memory layout. | User Comment Submitted by Raistlin on 10 February 2020
Awesome! Some really incredible work here. Code, graphics, music... holy cow.
Amazing new scroller tech from JackAsser, too.
The bar has been raised by Booze yet again. | User Comment Submitted by Rhythm on 9 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Pex Mahoney Tufvesson on 9 February 2020
Mesmerizing. And mindbending. RUK i love your scrollers! | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 9 February 2020
My wife and I had been chatting while I was watching the compos on the stream, but we both went totally quiet when this demo got going. Really stunning design - a worthy winner! | User Comment Submitted by Snabel on 9 February 2020
Beautiful! I love your stuff | User Comment Submitted by Magic on 9 February 2020
What celticdesign said =) | User Comment Submitted by MCM on 9 February 2020
What a lovely piece of art, i like the mood and the scrollers very much. | User Comment Submitted by Saphir on 9 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 9 February 2020
Moody and brilliant! Loved every second of it! Maybe the only thing I think didn't fit so well was the last yellow scroller as it wasn't as colorful as the rest, but the end picture gave a fantastic total impression! <3 | User Comment Submitted by Mikael on 9 February 2020
One of the most beautiful demos ever! So impressed by you and (damn!) you got ahead of us with that aurora effect (working on the same idea!) Thank you guys for this piece of art where everything blends perfectly – code, design, music. Much love! <3 | User Comment Submitted by BjørnRøstøen on 9 February 2020

Elaborated comment (don't want to be called "one word comment guy" anymore):
Excellent graphical screens of those naturalistic pieces. Just as with Mermaid and Redcrabs work it's simply amazing and so nicely held; "Graphical demo" comeback! Everywhere else in Europe there is no snow? So a lash of the missed winter feeling is more than welcome!
Everything is so nice until one gets that hires scroll, and look at the content. It's a hires scroll, colored and it's WTF. Hahaha. Just have to love it! | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 9 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by KAL_123 on 9 February 2020
Great atmosphere and super music. Very good! | User Comment Submitted by E$G on 9 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 9 February 2020
Wow! That was really cool! :D | User Comment Submitted by psych on 9 February 2020
Beautiful in every aspect! | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 9 February 2020
very nice !! dano, simple: in multicolor mode if you turn the sprites 'behind' the background 00 and 01 pixels will be still behind sprites and only 10 and 11 will be shown infront of them :) | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 9 February 2020 User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 8 February 2020
cool one. very poetic demo. | User Comment Submitted by Dano on 8 February 2020
THAT SCROLLER! how the hell did you do the layers?!
beautiful flow and feeling. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 8 February 2020
