Hey, thanks for using my old charset. :) Regarding your comment in the scroller... as Raistlin said, this is a proportional charset (most chars 2x2, others are 1x2) so there should be code there to detect this. I would use a simple lookup table of 1 and 0 when it comes to executing the ADC #$40, or reading the next char from the scrolltext.

Cheers!

That would explain it (I also experienced that stuff would work differently in x64 and real C64).

Anybody care to test this on real hardware? ;)

To be fair, the bug is visible only in x64sc.exe and not in older x64.exe, probably where it was tested =)

At first, I was thinking… WTH? Why? But… it grew on me. Not bad at all.

Re: the comment to Conrad… the 1 in the font looks like it should be displayed as 1x2 instead of 2x2.. so you need to add code for that :p .. the same as the ‘ character.. note how the chars are spaced weirdly when quoted.

Thanks for the greets to C64GFX and C64DEMO :-) .. and GP of course.

Stamps back!

I have a complaint:
The demo is not the first entry in the d64, I have to manually load it.

Before anyone complains, the demo is not the first entry in the d64, you have to manually load it.
