You have watched Digital World on TDC with adapting speed algorithm and because of this some part was looking faster and some wasn't. This is first possibility how you can use TDC apart from as C128 2-Mhz compliant. Adaptive mode can be adjusted to "full good looking demos" with average speed above 1Mhz.
About SID, on prototype SID is connected to CPU directly so pitch of music indicates speed of cpu. If sid player/routine is synchronised with VIC raster time than playing speed is 1x, if with CIA timers then 2x. In normal version card, SID will be running at 1MHZ clock (same as VIC is running now), so pitch will be same.

i've watched digital world side a and noticed the following things:

- music turned into 2x multi and started to sound strange ;)
- some pictures were buggy, dunno if it's the faulty copy of demo or your card ;)
- i've spotted some deviations in speed, sometimes demo was running faster, sometimes slower

are those things to improve?

Digger: I guess this "Doom" part comes from Andropolis demo.

Amazing work Kisiel. I was wondering if 2Mhz overclocking was possible on C64 two days ago!

What is that Doom demo? Is it on CSDb?
