@DK: Hey, I already e-mailed Alex Kazik about adding libview64 support to his QL plugin. No reply yet, but I will push the subject you can bet on it.

@DK: A very good and fast OS X image browser has been open sourced so there's a potential for porting over Soci's displayers if anyone is interested ;-)

all it takes is sponsoring me an OSX10.5 capable machine.... =P

Can someone pleeeeeease finally make a Mac-port of this now? <:-) Universal binary please, with 10.5 SDK!...
A proper quicklook implementation (not that ancient one that can't even do FLI!) would also be great! ;-)

It compiling fine on Debian/Sid when the libsdl2-dev development package is installed.

Those images are the result of this filter, right? Looks better than what I did before.

would building it for *nix be a lot of trouble? i could provide the crt/pal emu i knocked up for research once (the one used for http://hitmen.c02.at/temp/palstuff/) ... its a bit slowish, but that wouldnt matter for this program, i guess :)

CRT emulation is not out of question. I had a branch since 2007 which tried that, but it was not merged because of hard-coded result image size. But that was well before the window could be scaled.

An impressive amount of formats there. Is crt emulation out of the question?

Excellent job, friend! With most of the work accomplished inside libview64, now there is a super-convenient upgrade path for several projects to add or expand their support for C64 GFX formats.

Yes, I made up my mind after all. Now it's about time to update the graphics file specifications on codebase64 by someone ;)
