So jammin' good. What an 'earworm'; indeed much better than the original game music. Thanks for this guys. | User Comment Submitted by TSM on 30 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 29 July 2014
Really nice production. Was waiting for all 3 girls to start dancing, but 1 is acceptable ;) | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 29 July 2014

And you forced me to upgrade Vice. ;) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 28 July 2014
Boobs and female exploitation on C64? This won't end well :) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 28 July 2014
"Would it not be much more meaningful to post that to the bug-tracker of the corresponding emulator?"
it works on recent version - so no =) | User Comment Submitted by enthusi on 28 July 2014
Hmm,
this happens alot recently (posts of different emulators that fail on specific releases).
Would it not be much more meaningful to post that to the bug-tracker of the corresponding emulator?
And yes, they may not care for bugs of super-old versions.
Unless its an Anti-Emulator-release (which this maybe partially is :) I see no point in posting about emu-failures... | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 28 July 2014
thumbs up for making some ppl think over their emulation and/or testing environment...
VICE v2.2 ? seriously? ^_^ | User Comment Submitted by Bitbreaker on 28 July 2014
Not my fault if you hurt yourselves with emulators and chameleons :-) In fact i had been fighting with some ugly bug that made this demo work on vice but not on real hardware. It worked all fine so far on vice 2.4 which is already very old. And yes, it hangs with chameleon, that got confirmed by the compo orgas *snicker*. And the crash after the original chuck rock intro, it is fake, it is part of the presentation, and i am happy that i was able to make it authentic enough to make you believe the whole demo crashed :-) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 27 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 27 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by Digger on 27 July 2014
Nice little prod. Full frame char animation rocked the most for me! :) | User Comment Submitted by Magic on 27 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by Bob on 27 July 2014
Wow amazing stuff here, totally unexpected production!!, damn this loader is fast !!
works fine in win wice, haven't been able to test it on the real hw yet.. But this is an awesome demonstration!, great work with the samples + sid. that is truly how it should be played ;) Oxy Rocks ;) | User Comment Submitted by Dr.Science on 27 July 2014
Cool, this one really ROCKS! Thumbs Up! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 27 July 2014 User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 27 July 2014
Ian, yes on winvice it works fine with virtual drive traps off, but does not work on my real c64 and chameleon device (works until the tom-drums and blank screen) when mounting and loading via load "*",8,1 | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 July 2014
Virtual Device Traps must be OFF with True Drive Emulation ON when loading from d64s with custom loaders.
Virtual dev traps must be ON only when loading from prg/t64. | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 27 July 2014
If it works well via floppy then it's time for the cores in chameleon and 1541u2 to be updated :-) | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 27 July 2014
@conjuror. It seems to crash, but give it a few seconds and it will display the next part. I assumed this as well with the garbled gfx while loading the data. However it does not continue to the main part. Keeps on playing back the tom drums with the blank screen.
Btw on chameleon via dma load, the demo does not work at all, however mounting the disk and loading via load "*",8,1 will start it. | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 27 July 2014
Freezes during the rock-part... on real machine with 1541u-II | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 27 July 2014
Nice. The loader seems fast. Any information about this? | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 27 July 2014
Freezes during the rock-part, a few seconds after the animations starts. I have virtual device traps enabled. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 July 2014
6R6: Probably you should have Virtual Device Traps switched on. It works fine with my Vice. The same problem was with Dream Travel's loader. | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 27 July 2014
But seems to work fine on real hw and 1570. ;-) | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 27 July 2014
Loader is stuck in a loop in my winvice v2.3 |
