Amazing. Especially that it's within the size limits we give our musicians for our big G*P demos - I thought this was going to be much bigger.

Amazing stuff.

Restored entry. Will add new entry with the new player with June 9 as release date (because the new player and gfx was released then). The old release stays.

Wow! Not a SID tune.. ehh.. not a TYPICAL one :) Well done with all those small details into the perfection - I'm just amazed how perfectly the notes start at this one. Guess what. You just told me to try out CC... without a single word! Hehe

I've just now replaced the SID and PRG files, the old version had a wrong wrap pointer.

Thank you again @everyone, I appreciate it!!

@Burglar, yes this is my own composition.

@Mixer @CreaMD: yes the mp3 is recorded from SIDPlay. I own 4 c64s, unfortunately 3 of them have a 6501. The 4th is broken so I yanked the 8580 out of it and plugged it into one of the breadbins, only to discover it got a broken filter.

So I recorded it from SID Play in the way it's supposed to sound.

Lman has proved he has some of that stuff in him that I like about artists. I would consider doing a coop at some point - if you would be interested in that, Markus. :)

Whoa whoa whoa!!! This is an extremely awesome fat stuff. Technical awesomenes of of instruments reminds me of that tranceish echoed sound in Electric Jesus by Intensity (Arman Behdad) that kicks in around 0:30.

Love almost every second of it. And it's over 3 minutes which adds even more value to it. This is a keeper.

Great work Markus! I like how the low end is done differently to how most composers do it.

Not to nitpick but I do not think that the recording is from a real c-64 is it?

lman, so is this your composition as well? as in, not a cover/remix... would make it even more brilliant :)

I keep playing this tune, cant wait for ur 3rd ;)

This is very very remarkable in particular considering that you have only made a few sid tunes recently.

The compositing of the channels to recreate single instruments is unique in quality.

Keep it up. Straight 10/10

Very fresh approach, love it!

Btw, are you Markus Klein from Intersolute? In that case, we worked together, small world, innit? =D

@everyone: Massive thanks for all your support and the warm welcome!

@Jammer: Thanks man, as you know your works are a huge inspiration for me.

@Flex: well I did some SID stuff in my teens but those kinda sucked. The 25 year break did me good. :D I am active in a subset of the c64 scene since 2000 though, I run remix64.com and I've released several remixes at RKO.

Fantastic! Seems like you've stepped into the sid-world by storm. According to csdb you've only released 2 sids so far.. Immediate master in sound programming.
