Great first effort! Love the use of PETSCII for the backgrounds ;) | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 3 October 2016
Nice little thing, gfx are unusual and therefore good :) | User Comment Submitted by Martin Piper on 30 July 2016
Thanks for this. I enjoyed playing it. Nice graphical style choice. | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 22 July 2016
what everyone said. a little bit confusing tho why a money counter counts down, and when do i die. | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 22 July 2016
2880$ playing one-handed :D | User Comment Submitted by TSM on 22 July 2016
Fun as hell. Would benefit from a Morricone tune in the title screen. 10 / 10. | User Comment Submitted by awsm on 21 July 2016
Had fun playing it, which is the best compliment for a game dev. Worked very smooth, the big sprites make it stand out against similar games. In fact, giving this a proper revisit and polish it a bit more (e.g. map, upgrades, lives, harder enemies), would make this a top notch release. Great work! | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 21 July 2016
Great game! Pretty much wanna say what everyone else said, except that I'm excited to see more from you and more petscii experiments by others. I love when a game/demo is proud to be c64 styled and not trying to impersonate an Amiga/Megadrive/Pc.
Lovely stuff anyway... :^) | User Comment Submitted by Dr. TerrorZ on 21 July 2016
Thanks for the comments! I may update the game in some distant future. I'm especially sorry about the poor sounds, the SID programming was done last and was a first for me :)
Yes, Saboteur was a major inspiration but I've played the other games mentioned. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 21 July 2016
Montezuma's meets Saboteur meets Joe Blade. Very enjoyable game with lovely usage of PETSCII :) And not as easy as initially seems ;) | User Comment Submitted by Bago Zonde on 21 July 2016
Wow, this game is really good! Controls are very smooth. And shooting while on the ladder - cool! I hope there will be the final, polished version. | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 21 July 2016
Flawless funky sexy side-to-side ass movements when he climbs the ladders haha ;-) And using plain PETSCII is genius, especially these bricks. I see the PETSCII trend emerging for games now. Great stuff Dr! | User Comment Submitted by cadaver on 20 July 2016
Very effortless playability (+ no apparent bugs in the movement etc.) and nice large scale in the graphics. Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 20 July 2016
And a bit of Rolling Thunder ? :) | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 20 July 2016
more Montezuma's Revenge than Saboteur for me.
lovely game. congratz! | User Comment Submitted by Isildur on 20 July 2016
Very nice. Reminds me Saboteur. | User Comment Submitted by G-Force on 20 July 2016
Got a real talent there.
Big sprites, great fluidity of movement and great sprite detection. | User Comment Submitted by Wanax on 20 July 2016
The sprites are huge!I like it : ) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 20 July 2016
it's actually cool, could have been a blockbuster in 1986 =) | User Comment Submitted by Dr. TerrorZ on 20 July 2016
Learning to code. Rather than try to improve this more I wanted to release the game and move on to new projects :)
