> Why removing the protection

Because protections must be removed, not replicated. If a software can be easily copied even by manually copying the files, the better.

Why removing the protection when it can be easily written?
Check here and read the "how I did it.txt"

Seems this is a proof that it can be done, refering to forum thread uncrackable / protected game disks - not meant to be a jewel release.

Why not wait to release anything until you have a version you are fully happy with?

you are right. i decrypted the prg-code c64-memory and 1541-memory
change some bytes from floppycode. Wrote a m-w,m-e routine to start the
floppy and and c64 code.i working on ab better version of this game.
i have both side encrypted and leveldepacked.and now i will remove
the hidden programm protection which will take a while.

interesting crack, most of the protection/loadersystem is still there, just with key things stripped out/patched.

it also still fills the complete memory with "skyskysky", which is why it takes so long for the intro to start ;)

more info from the cracker would be nice

Tom-Cat: I guess the votes mirror the lack of trainers or extra features, + lack of intro. The crack itself is probably good (I have no clue), but compared to the old releases there is no real reason to download it.

Play with trainer ? :)
I have tested the game from begin till the end
without trainers.but im working on a version
with trainer.Sorry for no intro, but my skills
not good enough.

Great crack but ... missing the intro and trainers :) Not really sure why the downvotes though... it is still something noone else was able to do (or attempted to do since there was an unprotected original out there).

Some info/background/trivia would be nice, indeed. (It doesn't work with cartridge, it seems - tested with AR6).

Is this a real crack of the protected original, as discussed in the forum?
