Sledge, your speculation about Talent's history is totally incorrect. Honestly, I preferred Bod stay with Hotline and was just as surprised as you were when Talent split off. The Hotline name was strong versus a new start up like Talent, and since I was on good terms with both the England division as well as the Netherlands division, why would I push for a split? Here's the part you don't know: Talent didn't want to trade with INC when they formed. Bod tried to dump us but the problem was their new wannabe contacts couldn't quite get the job done so they came back to INC.

Talent probably split off because Bod couldn't deal with your ego. Plus you weren't pulling your weight as you were spending all your time on the AtariST. I never once suggested, hinted, implied, or requested that Bod leave Hotline. Time to take responsibility for your own behavior.

As for you uploading games to our BBS, that happened now and then due to the time differences. With the handful of games you sent, you always uploaded the files for our eyes only (hidden) so that we could import them and put our intro on them. Let's not try to re-write the history books here 20 years later.

INC ( Especially the shark ) were the main reason that Hotline lost the UK division. This fuckin guy had been plotting and probing for a long time to get hold of Bod & XXX and made them all kind of promises. The result of this became a split up, and they formed TALENT.

Since INC has been importing from Hotline / Talent and a few others. I doubt that these releases can be seen as cracks, there NTSC fixes. I know for a fact that a whole list of releases i see here, i uploaded personally as a Hotline releases to there BBS in the US.

A nice bunch of people. I still remember the conferences with Masterkracker, Swan Song, Skreemer and The Shark. Lots of fun - great friends from old days!
