Thank you 4-mat. This has the essence of everything from the early 80's.
Stunned and amazed. | User Comment Submitted by Toggle on 12 May 2021
Woah... fantastic composition! Congrats! | User Comment Submitted by Trap on 10 May 2021

If only... Anyway, awesome work! | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 8 April 2021
Hot like Samantha Fox and Sabrina Salerno at the same time! | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 8 April 2021
Total winner! The presentation is a cherry on the cake. | User Comment Submitted by Viti on 8 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 8 April 2021
'83 is only a catchy tagline for compo. Its goal is generally to recreate all early vibes before more nextgen players kicked in ;) | User Comment Submitted by saulc12 on 8 April 2021
Not entirely 83 (more 83 to 85 really), but had to vote it 10 as to vote it lower would ruin the perfect score lol. | User Comment Submitted by Nordischsound on 8 April 2021
I've heard it very often now, this has definitely some john william vibes in it, i could imagine some kind of indiana jones intro/cutscene to this wonderful piece. | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 8 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by DivertigO on 8 April 2021
Superbly thoughtful and endearing.
Master of the Lamps! | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 8 April 2021
the presentation is absolutely stunning, nostalgia overload (even if - or maybe because - i hadn't been there yet). | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 8 April 2021
@Frostbyte: competing for leftovers can still be fun ;) | User Comment Submitted by Frostbyte on 8 April 2021
Ladies (lol, as if) and Gentlemen: You can stop working on your entries now. The compo is over. 4mat won.
Seriously speaking: I can't imagine how anyone could do it better than this. Sure, this is an entry to a music compo, and the presentation is a big part of creating the period correct atmosphere, but the music alone is a masterpiece and would work brilliantly without any visuals. However, with the visuals... I think I got something in my old, nostalgic eye. | User Comment Submitted by Shogoon on 7 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by eryngi on 7 April 2021
beautiful and sweet..this brought a joyful little tear to my eye.. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 7 April 2021
Music alone it's nothing but 10 ;) Speaking of which - care to provide .sid as well? ;) | User Comment Submitted by Nordischsound on 7 April 2021
Some kind of cheating, because it's a music compo but on the other hand this is pure awesomenes <3 | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 7 April 2021
WOW, what a time machine. | User Comment Submitted by cadaver on 7 April 2021
Wow, could say this goes above and beyond the call of duty :) | User Comment Submitted by Flotsam on 7 April 2021
Here's my gross understatement: pretty cool. | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 7 April 2021
I'd say 4mat is known to be ahead of the time, so actually him doing 1991 stuff in 1983 is perfectly explainable to me. ;-)
Ultradope music, and equally extraordinary visual presentation. | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 7 April 2021
Spectacular attention to detail in the tune, and as for the presentation... wow. <3 | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 7 April 2021
I just don't dare to judge on material purity, drowned in all this awesomeness! \:D/ BTW, it's one-file demo, I guess? ;) 83-86 mashup is imho absolutely ok if it works around the 'older' style ;) | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 7 April 2021 User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 7 April 2021
What those below said ... though I would think this is more of a mashup between '83-'86 SID music... just my own opinion though. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 7 April 2021
WTF have I just watched?! :O Cannot put my jaw back :O You've made it all in one week?! :O | User Comment Submitted by psych on 7 April 2021
I'm speechless for both, music and the presentation. Thank you for this experience! | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 7 April 2021
Superb presentation in all parts! |
