Very stylish. I like the effects! Plus really nice music we're having here. Outstanding demo. | User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 8 April 2007
One of my long-time favorites :) I really love the crazy-cool-bass-lined music @°v°@ | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 14 February 2007
The design is a bit clumsy but the effects look beautiful, especially on a telly! | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 29 November 2006
Well, Oswald, if you take a so-called "screen dump" (yes, it's really called that:)) of a single frame there are 16 pixels/char in my version and 8 in this one, but of course with interlace Fenek also reaches 16 over the course of two frames. Guess I should do an interlaced version with 32 px/chr to prove that I'm twice as leet :) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 29 November 2006
btw very nice demo I loved it back then. Somehow the music and the feeling of the parts fitted so well together, and the now dated design was really creative. I love the high res textured cube at the end eventho it crawls, but it looks like an amiga ;) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 29 November 2006
I have taken the idea from here for larch. Cruzer, this and your mode uses the same amount of pixels, for a fixed sized area. So maybe its not a good idea to claim yours is more hires. How about doing a 8x8 effect, but only showing the colors on 1x1 pixels at each character and claiming its hires ? :) :P | User Comment Submitted by Dwangi on 20 January 2004
You can also find that resolution in The larch by Resource+Breeze. | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 19 January 2004
Hadn't seen this demo b4 claiming to invent "2nd Pixel FLI". But obviously Fenek/Dragon was first with it, although my version is twice as hires. :) |
