Redstar: No, I just like bubbles.
Ed: "Weird screenshot, at this place it almost look like Ifli" - the screenshot was taken with PAL emulation on in Vice, to show what it looks like on the real thing.
Jammer: I hope that at least some of the pictures I have released recently have surprised you in one way or another. | User Comment Submitted by Redstar on 18 December 2006
Hi! A nice portrait I think, Mermaid. The bubbles int the beckground though, are they lack of fantasy? I think the backgrounds is very hard when you do something that is as dominant in the center of the picture as this man. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 15 December 2006
Hah Mermaid, we prefer colorful sexy women with bitchy make-up, I thought you have learnt this by now.
As for bitchy make-up advices, you know who should you ask, right? \:D/ | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 13 December 2006
i don't enjoy manga, to put it mildly :D | User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 13 December 2006
Jammer, in what direction would you like me to develop? I've already done my share of crappy Vallejo copies, I've done realistic faces, I've done landscapes. If I do architecture I'd be copying Joe (and would probably die of boredom), if I do isometric 3D I'd be copying Sander and Hollowman and Univerz and Higgie. Please don't suggest manga as I would sooner slit my wrists. Wolves howling at the moon maybe? Windmills? Moose in sunset? Crying child, gypsy woman? Seriously, I'm curious :) | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 13 December 2006
oswald >> indeed, i do not deny this ;) but everyone should develop and give us a little surprise from time to time, right ?? :P her turban bros picture is imho something different regardless of the fact that it's still cartoonish (and, yeah, she's perfect cartoonist/animation artist, i guess everyone has visited her homesite at least once)

Wow! Top notch work yet again! Where does Vanja get all the energy from? An excellent piece...

jammer, mermaid has found its own style and thats a whole lot more than copying the trends. | User Comment Submitted by Style on 12 December 2006
naw Vanja, get practising your lettering skillz! :) | User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 12 December 2006
Jammer, would you like me better if I did isometric unicorns? | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 11 December 2006
nice mermaid standard, but when oh when shall i expect something different than grotesque, bosch-like figures? :P surprise us ;) | User Comment Submitted by oys on 11 December 2006
very good and the colour use kicks ass. | User Comment Submitted by Helm on 9 December 2006
Very nice piece. Congratulations. Neat subtle scanline effect on bubbles. | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 9 December 2006 User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 9 December 2006

have to agree with tmr. very nice! | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 9 December 2006
great pic, but I could do without the blue background, most other colors would've worked better, imho. | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 9 December 2006 User Comment Submitted by T.M.R on 9 December 2006
It's getting incredibly hard to comment on all these picture releases because the standard is just so incredibly high! Got to love it...! =-) | User Comment Submitted by Grokk on 9 December 2006 User Comment Submitted by Deev on 8 December 2006
Really nice, I love all the detail on the face. | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 8 December 2006
vanjamókus \o/ lovely style :) | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 8 December 2006
Weird screenshot, at this place it almost look like Ifli... Anyway. The well taken care of details in the face reminds me of how artists would sit for hours to perfect their stuff in the 1990s.
Actually the picture is not that bad, and it's definately brute...
