@Scan: well said but i think: ppl who want to learn to code ML , first of need to learn to directive and commands and later try to code simple things like printing/colors stuff. i don't think C64Debugger will help to code , maybe a bit to hack/ripp stuff , nothing more than that.

Why isn't this classified as "Other Platform C64 Tool"? ;)

Sorry, I just couldn't resist making that joke.

On a more serious note, I've looked at the PDF and I have some serious issues with it. It says it's a coders magazine, yet out of the 54 pages only 2 contain actual code, the rest are old ads, screenshots, and a few interviews with people who are well known in the C64 scene, but for a beginning programmer the concepts for example Algorithm talks about will be WAY over their heads.

Also, I personally wouldn't recommend a beginner starting programming using the ML of the Action Replay 6 cartridge. Nowadays there are tools that are far better than that, for example I'd rather advice them to learn to use C64Debugger.

Also, beginning programmers don't want a PDF that's literred with self-glorification, and about petty Facebook fights with people that don't agree with your vision. Keep that to your demo's, not something you want to distribute commercially.

That said, I'm afraid by the incoherency of the magazine you will not meet your intented target audience.

Just my 2 cents.

After following his insults on facebook I'll make sure to avoid this guy in the future.
And he continues:

"AND NOW Moloch has put it BACK UP, with the free PDF attached. PIRACY!!! Cease & Desist Order time!
Anyone who downloads the magazine from CSDB, which is NOT a preview as marked, but a full 68 page colour magazine, is directly engaging in piracy and copyright infringement
If you would like a copy of INC $D020 please use the official shop page, it’s only $2US for a pdf and kindle version.

I have sent Jon Mines (Moloch: Moloch) and the owner of CSDB Klaus Anderson (Perff: Perff) a formal Cease & Desist Order."

@LFT: this guy is in a war with half of the C64/128 Members trying to promote this mag. in every way he think it's legitimate. meanwhile he is trolling around. this guy don't know how to stop . i'm in shock

But... it clearly says "PREVIEW" on the front page? Why would he consider that word defacing?
What was the original title?

A pity things escalated like that. I assume there are other reasons for the ban as well, because this sure doesn't seem a valid reason.
The issue IS still a free "teaser" issue though, right? Then There is no reason to remove it here.

sorry for making dramas but this is what he wrote on FB .
So I decided to be nice and upload a free pdf release to CSDB, and one of the admins immediately changed the title to INC $D020 Preview, assholes!
Removed the free CSDB download link, they don't deserve it :P
Even tho some admin removed the news of the launch of the magazine and website from the news section; Moloch immediately defaces it with the word "Preview" added to the title, then when I complain he bans my account from CSDB.
Of course, this does mean *war*. Next week http://incD020.com will have it's OWN scene release database, and it will be mobile friendly, unlike the aging and dated Commodore Scene Drama Base. And it will be *invite only* :P

I'd name it "#0", as it was usus with "preview" issues of other mags before.
