Demo of my youth I will never forget how PVCF music was playing on the speakers during my nightly marathons with demos eh what those times were. Of course this demo is timeless!

this demo is up there with the greats for me, dutch breeze, krestology, tower power, etc and mathemathica, best for its time.

Madhead: If that video is yours, please consider reuploading. The link is b0rked like a polling timed raster effect.

This has always been a very mixed bag for me. Starts great in every respect with the intro and then proceeds with technically great (for the time) stuff, but quickly loses design and music points in my book. Some highlights here and there (PVT's graffiti-style graphics mostly, next to some code gems), but otherwise rather bland effects, hard cuts, not very pretty visuals nor great music.

Still very high on my ‚Best ever’ demo-list. Great!

Wow. I just saw it today for the first time. The effects are so incredibly fast and the music so geil - so geil.

piuuuh... i don't know what i should say... many thanx for your comments!!
we worked over one year on this trackmo, the intro took us 2 years. at the party during showing the demo the crowd yells so loud that nobody was able to hear the music ;) but they showed the demo later again and i was absolut impressed as i saw two or three visitors dancing on the tables to parts of 2nd music (the part with 'nordic' style). i still have them on a videotape somewhere, hehe. good old times...

Holy crap, I never saw this one before.
Very cool, especially since it dates from 1995.

I saw this in '96 or so after not following the C64 scene for four years or so. I was absolutely blown away with the PC style effects, it was just a total revelation to see that rotating tunnels etc. could be done on the C64.
A classic!

Remember some demo-parites where PC freaks couldn't believe that this is possible with c64! They were totally shocked!

The music is way out from my taste-range, but all in all a very cool, well synced, fast, technically-orientated demo based on really scary effects (at least they seem so, for me)! I almost pissed in my pants when seeing this one for the first time!
Always reminded me a bit of Tower Power 100%, dunno why...

Very nice demo, esp for being over 10 years old. Top stuff.

Neat Effects! PVCF is probably did probably the most entertaining techno-influenced music on the C64, beside Wacek of course. Thumbs up!

I remember seeing this in the compo at TP5 & how stunned I was.. A great improvement compared to their demos Cafe Odd & Access Denied.

back in 96 this was the hottest shit, we showed it to every pc freak. this demo has a lots of innovations, thats considered boring since then. but back then even pc dudes wetted their pants while watching it :)

I talked with PVCF about this and he confirmed that there's a SID autodetector at the beginning of the demo that tweaks the first tune to sound good on both chips. Tunes 2 and 3 were not affected by this and are meant to be heard on the 8580.

That should explain it; however I had a new sid c64 back then and I remenber the music sounding better in an old c64c with 6581...Who knows.
I will try to find a new sid c64, PVCF music is worth the effort!

about PVCF: As you can see in the interview we did with him for Scene World, he used a 8580 to compose all his tunes, that's why they do not sound good on 6581 SIDs...

One of the really best demos ever with one of the best soundtracks! I wish to see demos like this one nowadays...

Top stuff. Quiss and Guru set the standard soooo high...
The music only seems to shine on a few 6581 revisions, probably a filter related problem.

One of the worst demosoundtracks ever. PVCF was weak. Otherwise a nice demo.

Really cool demo! The part I like more is the one called "Inside Thorus". The music is neat too!
