It's all been said. LMan, crazy 808 flavas here. Beautiful notes here and there... You are one of the greatest on the SID.

Lovely tune, makes for great listening. At 1:28, the sounds remind me of the music by Velo from the demo, 'Gaia Machina' by Approximate.

You could mistake the quality of the sound for an amiga.
Awesome.

For me it was always a dream of making some 808 stuff for the lovely sid, but i failed due to lack of knowledge and very poor efforts... This is soooooo cool boyyy! Now make "Autobahn" vocoder with sid only!!!

It's not a rage :D Just a warm feeling that I can already retire, take care of grankids and know that there's another soundiman around, treating sid like a real bitch and bending it like a rubber :D
User Comment
Submitted by Hein on 3 April 2015
Amazing. How's that done? :)
@Jammer: I can't code like that, I can't do graphics like such and I certainly can't do music like this. Don't rage-quit just yet. :D

I had to check with real c-64 and 8580 that this indeed sounds as good as it does. Very good 808 sounds.

Some sounds start bit snappier on real machine and there are some adsr errors, but it sounds very good even with those glitches. Very good 808. Bass reminds me of Mr. Oizo.
