Heh, my comments were (again) just taking Walt/Trap’s own comments, from Memento Mori, and redirecting them back ;p (if I sounded bitchy, well, read the source material :p) .. they feel more apt for this demo than that one (MM had -some- graphic filler there - but I’d like to think it had some ok code too).

@Raistlin: The meme quality of your comments are very high ;)

I just realised that I didn’t comment on this demo yet.

The graphics here are fantastic, Facet and The Sarge are amazing. But… for me… there’s too much of it without enough new code around it. I see some improved reused code here, especially from Unboxed.

Music is great in this one too, of course.

@Walt - Unfortunately, there are also people here with low vibration of consciousness, but fortunately many people understand what is this. @Bonzai - Congratulations guys, it's a fantastic demo! (like the others)

Thanks for all your comments! Working on this demo was such a blast, especially the last two weeks when this demo went from being a one disk to a two disk demo and we had to do more parts and turn disk part etc to fill it up. But everyone just dug deeper and went with it. And we had so much fun!

Fun fact, the James Band part idea came up on Thursday at 15 o clock the day before we were all going to drive to Gubbdata. At 19 I started the pixel work, Laxity started somewhere around that time making new music. Sent final gfx to Trap at 23 who coded this until 02 on Friday. Kind of insane but we felt we had to do it. Loved every moment working with these guys.

@Bob: Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, we had a theme :) We also had a theme for Bromance and sort of a theme for Unboxed...

The question that remains is which theme is the most exploited - James Bond or Star Wars ? ;)

Super slick as always from you guys! My favorite scroller was the big transparent sprite overlay thing. A thing of beauty, that one. Excellent music tracks, especially the intro!

After some seconds of watching this on the party stream, I knew this demo will win the compo!

I am deeply impressed by how you pull off all the effects while sticking to one chosen theme, which was James Bond this time. A brilliant choice for sure!

Thank you for just another demo gem, Bon(d)zai!

So you couldn't resist a theme in the end ;) Bond theme! and of course I grew up with James Bond as my super hero :)
The witticism, you have an edge on that department!

Well done! Well deserved Well executed!

Cool upgrade on the translucent scroll with diagonal directions (pain full to do).
Loved the rotating letters scroll too.

Ps. You should update your gif-thumbnail other then the C64
basic-screen.
