Nice Release indeed. Everyone used the Atari 7800 Docs as source as we know, but is it really necessary to write "Insert the Donkey Kong Junior Cartridge into your Atari 7800" in Your Docs ?

Quality release! Sceners do what ever you want, just keep the spirit alive!

Old arcades like this are for playing a highscore. Back in the day you wanted to beat the score, remember your score, send it to a mag, whatever. Nowadays there's sites on the web where people can provide their highscores.
Is it so hard to fathom a player who plays for a highscore wants it saved? :) Certainly it's nothing remotely hard to implement in a crack. Laxity was smart enough to do that.
G*P did great anyway and was the first to single-file this title, so have some pride in what you did mates, and don't bother ranting about how some others rate this release coz you're better than that :)

Then it would come close to late 90s Magic Disks. LOL

Mage: lol. Yes. How dare anyone call a crack proper without docs in the mainfile, hiscoresaver and game savestate. What I demand now is a nice box, colour printouts of the docs and a physical professional disk (with added copy protection) to call a crack proper.

I want game state save, so I can switch off my computer in the middle of a level when I have to take a piss.

@zyron, no, it's about giving the game the attention it needs to call it a proper crack and at the same time not needing multiple versions just cause u want to be fast and win weird points in a system that nobody agrees with and makes no sense in this day and age.

I already regret that I really type anything about this pointless meta philosophical cracking standard jazz.

F... those standards and let ppl just do what they decide. 1st release for 1st release's sake might help stats wanking but obviously ain't what scene appreciates, quality does matter, that's good news. Quite sure, 3AD and ONS will do better next time. G*P version(s) are really good. But LXT version is _really_ 1filed and provides HS, so for me it's the best.

However this call for deleting other versions due to whatsoever rulez is childish nonsense imho. This whole "race"/competition (fastest/best crack) is documented by those entries, deleting versions by other groups from CSDb is basically deleting History.

lol bout ori sup credz ^^ but no issue with that either

Seeing as two of the three other releases of this game credit "original supply" ... whats the issue? ;)

Original supply? Really? :)

I can't see the problem with a HS saver.. Just reset HS if it's not yours. It's still a High Score, and it up to the player if he wants to save it or not.

So a hi-saver, if even for just one single score, is what's demanded these days? Really? That's frigging madness. I mean, seriously...there's no high score list, no names. The score could be anyone's, or anything. I don't see the point. But alright, you all do it the way you want to, the way others demand you to, or the way you demand others to. I expect to see a lot of this from now on, from everyone encouraging it; +H == quality
Not slagging on LXT here, but this is madness...
What's next? What 2-3 bytes might anyone want to be able to save from a game in the future?
How many +HH's can one group finally achieve?!
Who will be the first to install a double +H-saver of some kind?
Will this save the scene, or not?

Didn't think I'd ever write this, but Laxity saves the cracking scene ;)

awesome version, thank you for taking time to make it awesome ;)

HS ain't nonsense, the way it's done is just quite plain and the execution's a little whacky. Moreover, proper single filing, working trainers, what eles can you ask for if even the author sez this is a proper release? No need for whining here imnsho

oh, come on... let Joe type whatever he wants :) Joe: feel free to express yourself, we all love your "weird" comments, hehe!
nice release Laxity, although I still think the hiscore saver is nonsense (but it was a feature asked by the most, so...)
and I expecially like this HTL-oldskool-intro :)

@Joe
Why you just keep your weird comments yourself instead of typing it every time again into each of the crack releases of that game!
As you should know, besides Demos and Games the cracking scene is really ALWAYS a part in the Commodore 64 scene history. And I’m pretty sure YOU did play games which are cracked on the C64 too!

And I guess you did it just right, where the others failed...

Non-theless. I find it utterly lame to crack in-scene games such as this.
Other than trivial venues in Venice or on the shore to any French island.
Perhaps you fell in love and just had to get her number?

Go do real code and graphics and leave does poor games alone...
You got a 10, since you seem to got it right, but it's far from what your worth.
