Laxity: of course, the usual escape route is to leave a text in the production "MUSIC BY: ?UNKNOWN?" so you can play dumb and don't have to credit anyone ;P
In this case the wrong author is credited, so it's probably one of those cases where the coder hadn't really a clue where he got the sid tune from =)

Yeah, so back in the day, and I guess to some extend still, using already released music is totally fine without asking. :) Right?

Another underrated entry IMO.

Lovely composition - and takes some heavy VICE debugging to reveal all the tricks. Even then, though, the question remains: how was the picture made for this format in the first place?

Brilliant.

Witchcraft! Excellent artwork, especially given the restrictions - love the way they encouraged such a distinctive style.

And yes, cracking tune by Vincenzo :)

@dkt:
no, i did not. its a plain "3 multicolor bitmap in sprites" and changing sprite colors at certains rasterlines. the diterhering was also done manualy.

Curlin, I replied to your PM and I would like to emphasize it here as well for the public: There's nothing wrong with using previously released stuff and I'm happy if someone thinks my music fits their production.
The problem here is with giving (proper) credit, and actually it would be nice to ask for permission first. You know, 21st century, email, CSDB PM, etc. it's easy to contact people, especially if they are active on the scene.

@vincenzo, you even could have felt good while being choosen with your composition (becoz its simply more than good) being a part of the release. in times of growing up, there was jch, laxity, metal and others whose musics were used freely without complaints.

I'm happy to learn that you like my music and included it in your production. It would have been nice of you that if you let me know in any way you used my music (I would have given it to you anyway, but you know, it's always nice to ask first).
In my opinion, this neat intro would have been more elegant if proper credits were given.

Reminds me of one Part done by Crossbow. The strange name in that Hitmen release is probably related to that special part in Crest Avantgarde ... The added U infront. Hmmmm.... maybe means ugly... ;)

Great new graphics mode. :D

Not sure if somebody in Camelot (Cruzer) is behind it or somebody in The Solution (Peacemaker, Groepaz). I'm leaning towards the latter, though. =)
