Yes, from what I can see the “ban” is just a disinformation that can be traced to more or less single source. And a kind of a whisper in Berlin. Some quite large media outlets took the bait tho…
Nonetheless, it seems to me that quite a lot of critical voices in Germany these last months got branded with the “political enemy” red triangle. Spooky. |

| What Krill said: the Red Triangle is controversial at the moment because it seems to be used as a target marker by Hamas and appeared in some rather strange protest actions at universities. No direct link to the concentration camp badges. |

Current context seems to be that red triangle symbol used by Hamas supporters.
From what i found, the ban is thus far only a motion by the currently-ruling parties of a city (not the entire country), opposed by... the opposition, and not yet put into an effective law, let alone run by the relevant constitutional and other courts. |
