This stuff is ace. The bump-mapper looks almost photo-realistic, the fractal-style effect sucks you in, the rubber vector with great pic almost wet my pants, as did the next part with the horizontal twister. Other parts are sweet too. And then the bleeping, twitchy music; highly original and awesome. It fits this demo perfectly.

Does this 90% version contain all the parts or is there more to come? I haven't seen any credit or greetings part in this version. C'mon guys, finish this masterpiece already.

There are some very nice Audio & Visual work in this one. Unfortunately as the story unfolds I didn't have time to finish the work for this beauty.
However I made a lot for another group the same year, which occacionally never released any of it at all.

L O L, now that show how drunken the guys were before they went to the podium to receive the scene.orq awards :D

Dalezy, maybe he's scared of giant trolls?:)

right, that's me, dressed as a giant troll.
though, why exactly were you scared, archmage? =)

Damn, Leon was really funny during the prizegiving. And Archmage indeed looked quite shocked, I laughed off my ass while watching the BP broadcast :D
Btw, anyone knows who is the guy in the black suit on the picture Dalezy linked in? I recognized Archmage, Leon's hands with the beer, Edhellon and Doc Bacardi (edit: I assume it's Dalezy) (edit2: yep, it's Dalezy :D ).

I really love this one. The scene from the screenshot is just excellent.

Giving the prize to you guys was truly one of the more scary moments of my life though. I refer you to the picture beneath. ;)

Imagine that a whole bunch of people is working on this for weeks. Most of them are going to travel from Hungary to Germany just to see it on the bigscreen. You are responsible for linking and optimizing this stuff. Then, suddenly, your father dies and you have to take care of the funeral and legacy stuff. It was one option to let the production down. I (in agreement with the RSC-guys) decided to continue and see how far we could come under these circumstances. It was a period of immense stress for me, but I do not regret a bit. The decision feels good to me even today. Your mileage may vary.

The bumpmapper looks awesome and Leon's picture behind the vector-object is fabulous, but I just cannot see the point of releasing non-finished demos... It's one thing with cracks - since the games are not your own productions - but when you control the workflow yourself there's simply no excuse to release something unfinished.

I can understand the need to release a fixed version of a demo if a bug is found *after* releasing something though. But if you know there are bugs - don't release.

Hey Bubis, I thought I recognized some of your code in there. You kicked me yet again, keep up the amazing work :). The true Breakpoint 2006 compowinner as far as I am concerned. Will patiently wait for the 100% -- awesomeness cannot be rushed as far as I am concerned.

@Slammer: thanks for the comment, the comparison to Hardwired (and the notion of being in the "only got 2nd place" hall of fame) really made my day. :-)

Good good good. Really hardcore routines from two (oh.. four) real maniacs. But this can never get my 10 unless it's finished! A demo is more than *just* routines.

THIS IS TEH SHIT! 10 For that! :D

Non plus ultra was nice, but Error 23 is my winner too. It will join the long line of winner demos which only got 2nd place that began with Hardwired in 1991... (So actually this demo have joined a rather exclusive club of demos ;-) )

This should have won the compo in my oppinion. and hey nice to see bubis and edhellon active in resource

I especially liked the 4x4 stuff actually, but I was very disappointed when it (and Non+Ultra) refused to load on my C128DCR. Buggy loaders suck.

very cool effects (except for that ugly stretching twister thingy), some nice gfx, some not so nice gfx. not so well put together and ends suddenly. if this is worth a 10, what are you going to give the 100% version?

honey: the reason is simple not all parts appeal to me, if you have a problem with my rating lets take it outside.

Fuckin nice stuff...
When i see voting this with 7, what must be done then for 10?
A demo 100% looks like on PC?
Come on boys, this will take sometime the last coder the fun in doing anything.

Music in the demo was on #11 place in C64.sk's SidCompo 5. Good choice for a demo. Yumm. Nice selection of effects. Could use better transitions, but overall quite impressive.

2 parts look really good, the rubber vector ( nice graphics behind the object ) and the horizontal twister over a "machina" picture. the rest imho was average.

Bump me! Some hardcore coding here. And don't you people complain about the effect-timings. I think they are pretty correct, almost all the way through. Also dalezy's slightly underestimated, nervously twitching SID compo-entry gets a slot well deserved. Well done, guys!

Code Pr0n!

Excellent code and gfx in this demo.
Although it left me with a unsatisfied feeling after it ended so suddenly.
Transitions and effect-timing would have made this demo much and much better.

Sorry Oswald, but this time it was my turn to nag ;)

-Edit- Just read the trivia. 90% version...
Okay, I'll wait and see.
