Very Impressive. One charset per pic probably doesn't work for all pictures this well, but anyway - very cool. | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 3 December 2013 User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 24 November 2013
"even looks better than those mideighties degitized porn-slideshows."
not that hard considering how crappy those mostly looked ^^
This is WAY better, great stuff
PS: and "no" to suicide grrrlz, keep the scene sexy, algo, stay yourself & stick to pr0n stars | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 24 November 2013
"Can we have some suicide girls next?"

Single charset FTW! Pitty my Atari only has 128 chars in there. | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 20 November 2013
Cool! But please no more Silvia Saint...... Can we have some suicide girls next? | User Comment Submitted by Puma on 20 November 2013 User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 20 November 2013
Tried it on my galaxy s3 using a vice port (c64.emu) slows down dramatically when images are rotated. Perhaps the emulator does not handle rapid changes to the screen that well on slower devices | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 20 November 2013
doesn't happen here. try disabling directx, fast sample method in sid settings/resid tab, and as last option, fastsid emulation =)
I have tried with 8580 (resid and resid-fp), sample method Resampling, on both x64 and x64sc from vice 2.4.1 and 2.4.5 | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 20 November 2013
Its an issue with vice. Seems to have the same issue with vicesc. Runs fine on micro64 and hoxs64. The rotation features hard coded routinesalternating bbetween reversed charset so not exactly an animation in the sense of data precalculated | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 20 November 2013
Neat! Although the music slows down in VICE on Mac during the rotation animation, weird?! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.Science on 20 November 2013 User Comment Submitted by Slator on 20 November 2013
amazing stuff. even looks better than those mideighties degitized porn-slideshows. | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 20 November 2013
Still impressive, good quality for a single charset. | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 20 November 2013
Its a seperate character set for each image. Normally using other Clustering and Codebook generation methods even when using a single character set would give more visual block artifacts in comparison to the method of encoding used to present the pictures in this demo | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 20 November 2013
So is this a single character set shared between all the images? | User Comment Submitted by The Gothicman on 20 November 2013
