It doesn't run from my C128+1571. Replacing the 1571 with a 1541-II and it works. Weird, as per the txt in the archive it says the loader is compatible to 1570,71,81 etc.

:) Many thanks.
This game was one of the racing games i spent most of my time on as a kid. The version I had was the one with the Drive intro infront.
We didnt add any trainers because I feel (car) sports games like these doesnt need any. If you want to finish first just play on the easy level. It's piece of cake.

@burglar: A little tricky at first.
I always reassemble and look real haaaard on loader code to understand how it works. Then replace it.

Really one of the better Racing "simulators" at its time.
Did play this game alot back in the days and to see a new release if this - thumbs up!

thumbs up grg!

I just made a championship round, the memories man :) I used to play this on the hardest level, and many tracks had little secrests, like

- detroit, you can do the chikane after the tunel with hardly no breaking

- silverstone, the first turn is easyer from the pit lane

- japan, if you miss the ideal curve your next 2-3 turns are spoiled

- italy, you can go around without breaking, just turn the wheel timed right.

its ammazing how important is how you take the turns. downsides: when they overtake you get 30% damage automagically, this drove me nuts, the only way to win was to stay in front.

I wonder how tricky it was to replace the original loader with nosdos ;)

good job, glenn!

PS: might want to fix the credits, there is no trainer ;)
