as an addendum i would just like to add this which kind of sparked the inspiration for the whole redraw just from the sky.

if i had realised how bloody infuriating it would be trying to approximate that sort of effect on an isometric angle would be i might not have bothered starting :)

edit: the image title comes from:
"Here be dragons" is a phrase used to denote dangerous or unexplored territories, in imitation of the medieval practice of putting sea serpents and other mythological creatures in blank areas of maps.
which sums up the slightly unorthodox and in need of testing graphic technique too:)
