There're no deep differences between the two versions, in common there's only abusing in the vote system, nothing more. @Medicus: You're welcome :)

I think both versions have their merits. I like the pic by Grass more. I prefer the original docs in PDF more however I do like C64 docs too.

As far as points are concerned. G*P win, Avatar receive no points. This is because the debate is over docs, not over the game itself (if the game was flawed, then that is when this would be interesting). Albeit, the docs are important to a game of this style, G*P did upload them to TDD and other sites and subsequently CSDb (once the download link was made available for them to place here as an external link due to the 1MB limitation).

AH, I stand corrected then :)
Or at least the points I mentioned are irrelevant then maybe :)

"The PRGs themselves are slightly smaller"
look again. the g*p release *includes* the added title pic. and the g*p release includes the *full* docs, not just the text which cant even be printed =P

just to state what came to my mind
(not taking sides here):
The docs are on the d64 in c64-format.
The PRGs themselves are slightly smaller.
The Title-pic looks/is less converted.

So... you can produce pages of crap in a few hours but not quote a single reason in a day? 3...2...1....

*sigh* so, now that the shitstorm is over i have cleaned up (keep that crap private, really). now it would be interesting to know how exactly this release is supposed to qualify for the 48h rule.
@kickback: no need to be concerned. although the whole "stealing" part is deliberately cruel so to say, it is not ment to apply to as you say "minor" differences. if anything, it applies to rivaling releases which are superior in most if not all aspects.
as for that, see above :) (and as a sidenote: i recommend simply releasing cracks at eg TDD and antidote - other acceptable sites are open for discussion - and then you can simply ignore our silly rules)
PS: no matter what comes out of this, thumbs up and big balls avard for even trying to challenge anyone like this, for the first time :)

Really..... The whole part of "steal" needs to be cut out of that rule because I think in this situation it IS being abused!

Wow! I usually don't say dick shit about what goes on here... But damn... Because there was some MINOR differences in the game re-release it? I remember this shit some years back about TRAINERS! LOL!! Now it's docs... Maybe I should go and create newer graphics or title pages for old cracks and re-release those...

Being creative IS the scene, being retarded is a curse I see... Oh well..

Long live TANKARD LOL!!!! Please save us TANKARD LOL!!!
