This custom type of dither can be used in all other gfx modes as well with astounding results. Some of the pictures fed through the converter look like they have at least some type of sprite overlay/underlay when infact they are only plain AFLI. Tried it in plain hires and looks promising as well...

Looks really cool on CRT, although it would need a lot of fixing not to give away "wiring" so easily. The green area is totally awesome. I wonder if I ever seen such mixture of green and yellow in normal noninterlaced mode on C64.

Decent crop and no aspect ratio deformation. That's a plus. Okay I have added into the Rambo Revisited - gfx compo as entry released "outside compo".

With all the rambo mania going on recently in CSDB, I decided to release this conversion. (Not for the rambo competition) but to demonstrate another unique method of color reduction.
The image that you see here is in standard AFLI mode (no sprite overlay/underlay) yet attribute blocks/clash seem to be hidden away with the dither.
Everything is ofcourse wired. But the image was put together by adding ocean logo, resizing etc.
Use a Real C64 for optimum viewing
