Just a note to put this up again. I've got the feeling that some/ even many of you did not notice this one...
I've created some new tunes now, but releasing might take some time.. | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 29 September 2011 User Comment Submitted by GT on 17 September 2011
Superhero for me. Great work Antti. | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 14 September 2011
I liked the intro tune and Top Gun the most! Also nice piccy! | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 13 September 2011
Conrad: thanks. That's likely the best compliment I can imagine. Funny though that I almost let that tune out of the collection.. :-) I myself stand more behind Superhero and Dreamgirl.. :-) and for the 90's freaks I guess "Dance Attack" is the choice.. | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 13 September 2011
Regarding "Centuries"... I kid you not, I've been humming that tune in head all day and yesterday at work. :) That, is what I consider a great tune! | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 13 September 2011
Sid files just added.
The introtune and Top Gun Anthem are the cover-tunes of this collection. The one in the intro is made of Samuli Edelmann's tune "Ei mitään hätää". That tune is a radio powerplay these days in Finland. Named that song "No Worries". | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 11 September 2011
Really nice music and design. My favorite is Superhero because of the catchy melody and the interesting chord progression!!! ;) Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 11 September 2011
\o/ great work guys three thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by STE'86 on 11 September 2011
you get a 9 from me just for the Top Gun Anthem. see comments here Dangerzone
now then, what about Kenny Loggins' "Dangerzone" huh? | User Comment Submitted by Sander on 11 September 2011
Great release! Quality music and a fine presentation, it shows a lot of love went into this one. Thanks! | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 11 September 2011
A very very nice collection there Flex!
My two favorites are "Superhero" and "Joyrider". The oldschool feel to the presentation is what makes it special. I really would like to see more music collections like this. | User Comment Submitted by Twoflower on 11 September 2011
Yes! You guys are amazing. Spraycan Art it is - and right now I recall the reason I recognized it. I believe I took a shot at a blatant b/w bite of it for the backside of a 1992 diskcover which might or might not still exist. | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 11 September 2011
Some beautiful tunes here, nice job! | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 11 September 2011
Hi guys! I see the girl in the menuscreen has caused some discussion. Cresh has done his homework, I have the book "Spraycan Art" and it's a piece from there. Some graffiti style for the C64. Thank you for nice comments so far! And to make it clear, it's 100% hand-pixeled from there with Paint Magic.. | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 10 September 2011
Fresh. My company this night! Nice design and interesting tunes.. | User Comment Submitted by Slator on 10 September 2011
thank you very much for (another) fine music-disc from you. I always love your way of touching the sid. :-D
well and with top gun anthem you hit directly my youth nerve.... I went to the cinema like over 20 times in 3 weeks to see that movie... well it was full of mistakes and tom cruise is so small he could never ever fly a jet, still my dream was becoming a fighterpilot :-> which I sadly failed though... thanks anyway... | User Comment Submitted by Cresh on 10 September 2011
@2F
The only reference that comes to my mind is:

A 1986 character by Sphere and Sketch, LA.
If you have seen "Spraycan Art" it is on page 11. Took me fucking 2 hours to figure it out. ;)
Obviously, Vaughn Bodē inspired.
Dunno if it has ever been done on c64. | User Comment Submitted by encore on 10 September 2011
Nice title. ;) I like the effort in how it's put together and presented - the graphics and the tracklist-font looks particulary nice. Of the tunes, 'Centuries' stuck out of the crowd and into my mind. | User Comment Submitted by JSL on 10 September 2011
Fuck! That girl in the menu.. Since I pixeled few (converts) drawings from my friend Raoul, this girl I pixeled too, he drew this in 1995, now I have a unreleased picture of this girl, seeing it here back in this production... Weird.. Ahh well, still I gonna release my version too somewhen.. :/

Nice logo and general graphic feeling! Great to accompany the audial stuff with something like this.
EDIT: From where in earth do I recognice the cartoon-girl in the main-part? Is it from a diskcover? Earlier C64 pic? | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 10 September 2011
really a nice release. good music and visuals. just the girl in the menu-screen misses one leg :) | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 10 September 2011
Here's an effort of long time period. 8580 works best for it. All the essential ALD music-collections are included on the same disk. |
