Summary
Submitted by Moloch on 29 April 2012
TMPx (pronounced "TMP cross") is the first and as yet the only cross assembler that is 100% compatible with the full syntax of Turbo Macro Pro (as well as the original Turbo Assembler Macro from which it is derived).

We first hinted at this project back in 2009... and after using it internally and putting it through some serious testing we finally agree that it is release quality. Our test suite comprises 45 binary format TMP source files designed to cover literally hundreds of individual cases, as well as an additional 47 "real world" source files; in all nearly 60,000 lines of code that assemble byte for byte identical with TMP running on the native C64. TMPview, which outputs the de facto standard for ASCII-ized Turbo code, is used for the translation step in the test suite.
