Caveman Ugh-Lympics Documentation

The first thing you will have to do after starting a game is to choose an Athlete.
There are six to choose from and each one has different advantages which are as follows:

VINCENT: Wimp. No advantage

GRONK: Stud. Advantage in all

CRUDLA: Saber race, Dino Vault

GLUNK: Saber race, clubbing, thag, Matetoss, Fire making

UGHA: Dino race, Fire making

After choosing your Athlete you need to type in the name that you will save in the high scores.

Then you will see the game options

PRACTICE: Select the event you want to practice in and press fire.
START: Compete in all events
CAVES OF FAME: High scores
RESTART: Take back to Players screen

The Events

MATETOSS:
Press and hold Fire and move Joystick in an anticlockwise circular motion. When at top speed release fire to throw mate.

SABER RACE:
To make Athlete run, move Joystick rapidly from left to right. Hit fire to leap over puddles and bushes.

FIRE MAKING:
Rapidly move Joystick left to right. When green bar turns red and reaches end, sparks start to form. When a few sparks land on your timber, puff on your pile by rapidly pulling the Joystick back.
When you see smoke, blow on the timber to burst it into flames. Don’t forget that you have to breathe after every blow (breathe by pushing up the Joystick) also in your opponent if getting too far ahead whack him on the skull with your Joystick by pressing Fire.

CLUBBING:
During intimidation phase, move Joystick as fast as possible in any direction to intimidate your opponent. The one who’s intimidated the most will have the edge in the clubbing.
In the clubbing phase, bash your opponent to sap his strength in one of these ways:

• KNEE BASH – Pull Joystick back and press fire
• OVERHEAD SMASH: - Push and hold Joystick forward and press fire.
• FACE BOP – Press fire while standing next to opponent there are more moves by pressing fire and diagonals. These moves differ from each caveman.
• DINO RACE – Keep trapping Joystick right to spur Dino and make him run, push Joystick forward to kick Dino into turbo speed. This will only work a few times. Press fire to make Dino jump over rocks ect…
• DINO VAULT – Before you start you must set your height by pushing Joystick up and down, fire to select. Move Joystick in time with his feet and speed up slowly until at top speed. When you near the edge, press and hold fire to plant the pole. When pole is fully extended release button and your Athlete will vault into the Air.
