I finally got around to firing it up and seeing Conjuror's great cylinder scroller. Good work mate! I also enjoyed your article, 'Coder's Journey'.

I'm really sorry to read that Joe's contribution has come to an end. :(

Excellent work guys! :)

I could get it to tell you who to vote for.

In other news I'll be starting a cash for charts service. Account details to follow ;-)

Yes, we are already working on something for the lazy modern scener. Erm, I mean the scene in 2014 ;) Expect something soon!

That's good news! Hope you working on projecting VN into my mind somehow so I could lay motionless on my back and eat chips from my chest while I check out the charts. Do that, and you'll have a satisfied customer o'er here :)

Jazzcat: Lol. Spoiled modern sceners, indeed.

Jailbird, please email us, so we can email you the sheet or add you to our lists, thanks :D

Done. And perhaps you could also provide an online formular interface similar to Attitude? Faster, easier and user-friendlier to fill that than going through a text-based vote-sheet. Maybe it will attract a few more voters...

@Hedning, ok thanks!

Adding a link to download votesheet to CSDb News might be an additional option.

Submitted by Jazzcat on 21 February 2014
This is the spirit.

Now, the sheet was promoted on IRC for several weeks (as the main channel topic). On Facebook. And in email.

Each issue we include our email address in the charts chapter - to ask sceners to email us to support it.

Jailbird, please email us, so we can email you the sheet or add you to our lists, thanks :D

Sounx: I am actually not involved in VN. :D Don't know why I am promoting it so much. Probably for the love of the scene. If you want votesheets contact macx or Jazzcat.

Jailbird, it was posted on c64/Amiga facebook group and emailed out to quite a lot of people. I'm not sure where else it was promoted as I'm not involved with that. Could you contact Jazzcat or Macx with your email address so it can be sent to you directly. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get on the mailing list.

Thanks

Well. Jazzcat posted in the C64/Amiga group on Facebook, Macx mailed it out to several sceners and also spread it on csdb if I remember correctly.

@Hedning, Ok... So... Where can we find the votesheets now? :)

The votesheet was actually spammed everywhere.

Considering it never reached me, whilst I'm very frequent both on CSDb and Facebook (where I follow quite a few scene related groups and pages), it was obviously a job poorly done. You need better PR staff :)

Consider also the VN news staff (myself included) probably make up some of those numbers.

Any suggestions on what we can to encourage people to vote more?

Rough: less blabla is important.
Noted error in the list and exclusion of points for Outbreak (NTSC) for Laxity, not that it matters in the result anyway ;)

An error in 'The List' Eddie's Adventure is not a SEUCK game but a demo by the Dutch group Heatwave with a Maniac Mansion styled main menu.

Hehe, when it autoloads the preface I was already getting reluctant feelings of "Oh my god, this will be tons of pages again" but when I saw your comment at the end, Jazzcat, I had to smile.
