I finally got around to firing it up and seeing Conjuror's great cylinder scroller. Good work mate! I also enjoyed your article, 'Coder's Journey'.
I'm really sorry to read that Joe's contribution has come to an end. :(
Excellent work guys! :) | User Comment Submitted by Response on 17 March 2014
Great as always - and totally awesome music! | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 21 February 2014
I could get it to tell you who to vote for.
In other news I'll be starting a cash for charts service. Account details to follow ;-) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 21 February 2014
Quoting JazzcatYes, we are already working on something for the lazy modern scener. Erm, I mean the scene in 2014 ;) Expect something soon!
That's good news! Hope you working on projecting VN into my mind somehow so I could lay motionless on my back and eat chips from my chest while I check out the charts. Do that, and you'll have a satisfied customer o'er here :)

Jazzcat: Lol. Spoiled modern sceners, indeed.

Well I'm a web app developer.. I'll look into it. | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 21 February 2014
Quoting JazzcatJailbird, please email us, so we can email you the sheet or add you to our lists, thanks :D
Done. And perhaps you could also provide an online formular interface similar to Attitude? Faster, easier and user-friendlier to fill that than going through a text-based vote-sheet. Maybe it will attract a few more voters... | User Comment Submitted by Sounx on 21 February 2014 User Comment Submitted by Didi on 21 February 2014
Adding a link to download votesheet to CSDb News might be an additional option. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 21 February 2014
This is the spirit.
Now, the sheet was promoted on IRC for several weeks (as the main channel topic). On Facebook. And in email.
Each issue we include our email address in the charts chapter - to ask sceners to email us to support it.
Jailbird, please email us, so we can email you the sheet or add you to our lists, thanks :D | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 21 February 2014
Sounx: I am actually not involved in VN. :D Don't know why I am promoting it so much. Probably for the love of the scene. If you want votesheets contact macx or Jazzcat. | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 21 February 2014
Jailbird, it was posted on c64/Amiga facebook group and emailed out to quite a lot of people. I'm not sure where else it was promoted as I'm not involved with that. Could you contact Jazzcat or Macx with your email address so it can be sent to you directly. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get on the mailing list.
Thanks | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 21 February 2014
Well. Jazzcat posted in the C64/Amiga group on Facebook, Macx mailed it out to several sceners and also spread it on csdb if I remember correctly. | User Comment Submitted by Sounx on 21 February 2014
@Hedning, Ok... So... Where can we find the votesheets now? :) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 21 February 2014
Quoting hendingThe votesheet was actually spammed everywhere.
Considering it never reached me, whilst I'm very frequent both on CSDb and Facebook (where I follow quite a few scene related groups and pages), it was obviously a job poorly done. You need better PR staff :) | User Comment Submitted by Conjuror on 21 February 2014
Consider also the VN news staff (myself included) probably make up some of those numbers.
Any suggestions on what we can to encourage people to vote more? | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 20 February 2014
Martinland: The votesheet was actually spammed everywhere. I don't understand why more people couldn't find 5 minutes. | User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 20 February 2014

... only 15 vote-sheets filled out?! =( | User Comment Submitted by T.M.R on 16 February 2014
i haven't actually read the mag... too busy watching that scroller on the intro! | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 16 February 2014 User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 15 February 2014
Rough: less blabla is important.
Noted error in the list and exclusion of points for Outbreak (NTSC) for Laxity, not that it matters in the result anyway ;) | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 15 February 2014
An error in 'The List' Eddie's Adventure is not a SEUCK game but a demo by the Dutch group Heatwave with a Maniac Mansion styled main menu. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 15 February 2014
Hehe, when it autoloads the preface I was already getting reluctant feelings of "Oh my god, this will be tons of pages again" but when I saw your comment at the end, Jazzcat, I had to smile. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 15 February 2014
Great intro by Conjuror, lovely smoothness to it with fitting pixels and music!
Thanks all! We wanted to get a quick read out to you and deliver something small and snappy - on time! | User Comment Submitted by Doc Strange on 15 February 2014
Great work and supreme tune from Wiklund. | User Comment Submitted by Paul Bearer on 15 February 2014
Damn, I'm still reading Scene World 22 and haven't even started with Nordic Scene Review 8 or VN 60... | User Comment Submitted by Shine on 15 February 2014
Nice all in all. Very good sound, cool intro. But the gfx is (only) ... ok. Thanks for your effort to keep the scene alive!!! :) 8/10 | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 15 February 2014
The intro scroller made my day, very nice and smooth twisting scroller. Very cool tunes in the mag. I will read later. | User Comment Submitted by Magic on 15 February 2014
