Fantastic demo - should've done much better than #5 at Datastorm!

Bob: I will try it on my 100% VSP safe C64C 8580.

This demo is made for the old breadbox original C=64, It has heavy use of VSP and will most likely not work so well on the c64c flawed c64 :)

Only 5th? Heavily underrated I would say. The guys who gave the points probably had too much beer. :)
A solid smooth of Censor like we came to expect from them, and again they didn't disappoint. Deserved at least top 3 IMO.

I hate you guys. The demo hangs up 95% times on REAL hardware (tested on 10 different C64 models, 1541 drives and PSUs). The demo kicks your dogs ass and I simply love it - the music, the ribbon part (as I wrote below), but it sucks ass all the way for this freakin' hanging up! So sad about it.

The serpent ribbons are really cool, and so are many of the other parts. Always a pleasure to see what you guys have been working on.

The text comes across crystal clear on my 1084. The loader made my 128D-CR or the 1571 crash once halfway through, but on the second attempt the demo ran fine. Very, very nice show!

Loved it! I was already excited from side A, but the stuff on side B especially sold me on this demo. My favorite part is the vertical scroller with sideborder animation. Also, the music was fantastic. I can't comment on the code used or the complexity of the effects. But as a viewer I feel that this demo was at just the right pace.

I really wonder how the first part with the text would appear on a CRT though. I couldn't imagine it would be that readable, could it? Not that I would rate lower because of it.

Agree with Stein.

Nitpicking: Imho you should have done a little less and maybe leave those few seconds on side B for other demos.

10 anyway

Some really nice screens here. My favorites are the greetings scroller and the flip disk wobbly scroller. After what Magnar said at the party, I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for X.

Very cool basic fader, DEMO... nice... the programmers coding skill... love it. nice image painter and music to make it so moody... ahhh... the shift... the sphere scrollers in dots... love them vsp tricks you posesses bob. Sideborder color scroller... hard brutal and cool and the plasma chars. It is a massive scrolling koala flipped in all direction making up a so cool routine here. haha, credits going all border... The underwater leaves grass or what i should call them are so great, and the greetings part looks really amazing following the letter shapes on the camera moves. The flip the floppy scroller is bliss. Again we get those cool techtech shapes in the sideborder with a large scrolling image, those shapes moving in the border make the image and mood of the effect so much greater. the twisting degree scroller, well it is smooth and adwanced but man those acid pills were perhaps the greatest scroller ever done on this machine in my mind. cool lady imade in the advanced mover smooth as hell and then the lovely the end part.

I will not say you should have done that or this, this is a very cool demo and the above is what i liked with the presentation of your massive coding, gfx, music and direction skills all of you.

Codingwise this is extremely nice to make so fluid on a c64 breadbin. Magnar, your music in this is really fucking great, and that you were down to 4 rasterlines i could not even spot where it was

Magnar: next time you can just bring one of those SM gass masks that hold a hose to the entrance of splendor... not a tent.

Thanx censor for a massive demo, we are all connected!

Love this! The music and effects (for me) surpass previous Censor prods, and I also would have expected this to of finished higher. Great stuff!

Really, really solid and enjoyable. Super! Censor never leave you unsatisfied. I thought this one would end up higher, though. Love and respect!

Some great eye candy in form om graphics (nice to see Leon in a Cd demo!) and code pr0n as usual from Censor, but what stands out for me is the super sweet soundtrack by Magnar.

This is IMO the best work you done on the C64, top notch!

Great demo! It was a pleasure to watch although the parts didn't feel that connected as they did in your last big demo.
When the hires forest picture showed, I was like "OMG, this is going to scroll, isn't it? If it does, i'm going to shit my pants." Luckily, my pants were safe :) Anyway, the graphics look awesome!
