Unlike on disk, it is possible to save a file with no (empty) name on a tape. If the tool loads such a file, it is saved on disk as ",". If there are more such files, the disk drive doesn't return a 'file exists' error, but creates another file with the same "," filename. Those files have to be later renamed with dir-master or similar tool to be easily accessed.
It works this way in both mine and Sailor's version, and for this moment I decided to leave it this way, because it actually is quite convenient. The automatic tape transfer is uninterrupted, and afterwards every unnamed file is clearly marked on the disk :) |
