In all fairness, the credit on the screen sais 'retouched'. So from where I am standing, it¨s a fair release. Maybee not for everyone but alas, ce' la vie.

Awesome music by GRG! You have an incredible talent to dominate the SID into submission! Never thought I'd hear that song play this well on a C64 without sampling and stuff.

The two other pictures are better than the one in the screenshot.

Iron Maiden deserves better than these lackluster pieces.

yeah, right, a real Oh Noes, while I had a burnout in 2010 and came to nothing, in January 2011 I found ProjectONE, new pictures where born, searching the web for some stuff, coming regular with own sketches to convert, and my own drawings.. It is crap that it ended now.. Maybe coming in a burnout again, without ProjectONE..

....and I don't look at that stuff either, thought it was clearly said.

Sorry I said anything at all. I won't make the mistake again.

There is more Iron Maiden stuff here on the db, perhaps also converted.. This was just an tribute to the band, as I love metal.. And, I even don't pixel in heaps, I have a c64 with 1541U2 here next to me but during the week no pixels, at weekend.. A massive pixeling day on Saturday from 6am till late in the evening.. Right now I have two weeks graphics on disk, and I need drivers to an 10years old usb floppy drive. Among them five new logos.. Wanna know.. Shine2, G*P, TheRyk, Leon, CiA..

I think the only thing that should ever be converted and displayed on c64, is your own artwork.
Demos like these I never look at. It's not difficult touching things up. No original artwork whatsoever, so what's the point?
No offense JSL. You ARE a talented artist, without a doubt. I've never seen someone put out as much artwork as you do. THAT is a compliment.

I guess it isn't the second choice, I converted the graphics to C64 and bad pixels got pixeled better, I know it isn't perfect at all. Screen3 for example had to be on a black background, and it was blue, so copy gave heaps of clashes.. I thought, doing all these zombie and fantasy themes in pixeling, come with some metal bands.. I have from heavy metal, also DIO & Deep Purple as three-screeners.. And, with ProjectONE as failing program on Win8 I must end the converting, and right now everything will be pixeled from scratch, and mostly own idea's..

just asking don't be offended my friend : when you say Retouch you mean you converted the pic and fixed the pixels or you made a pic from scratch and did a copy with dirty "hand" . i prefer the second choice. btw lovely pic and great band

Iron Maiden, three-screener, sources from the internet, retouch took two-and-half hours.. Enjoy..
