The plasma is a dual plasma. Meaning one plasma is working on the screen, the other is working the color ($0400, $d800).
When drawing the plasma area, and when finally attempting to implement the plasma, there were a lot of color nibble errors and the plasma looked horrid, at best.
By accident, I loaded the upper screen into Centauri and after fixing that I saved. I loaded that in the bitmap area and it worked flawlessly, which still has me very confused as to why.
