Looking back at X'2014, this tune was one of the very highlights for me. From the sound system this sounded just awesome as hell! I still love this tune to the max. Glenn, it's pure gold. | User Comment Submitted by Hawk on 24 September 2019

Maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't this the full version buy with a forced timer to reset the C64? | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 13 November 2014
Well, it plays beyond 3 minutes. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 13 November 2014
there is no extended version there, same tune | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 13 November 2014 User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 13 November 2014

Ok... just found the longer version on your sids download. Awesome! My top 10 of all time. Brilliant work <3 | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 13 November 2014
Fantastic work Glenn! Simply loving this tune. Can we have an extended version soonish :D Kthxbye | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 11 November 2014
Did I mention goose bumps at the 1:40 mark yet?
I did?
Fuck it.. i'll mention it again.. GOOSE BUMPS! :) | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 10 November 2014
blueprint for bigtime mega popular trance theme. builds so nicely and then the 1:40 climax, really, you have outdone yourself :) awesome!
more! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 9 November 2014
ps, reflecting on what Magnar said.. I am actually eagerly waiting to see if anyone on RKO will burn their fingers on a remix of this tune.. I too think it's (near) close to mainstream.. if it wasn't for the sid-ish high pitch sound - that of course I love :) | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 9 November 2014
This tune sounded great on the party, but it sounds bloody awesome in my car over the Harman Kardon system!
The part at 1:40, unbelievable.. it gives me goosebumps each AND every time! I kid you not, I've played this track close to 150 times by now and it's one of the very few I dare play full volume on my sound system thinking -fuck it.. if the speakers blow, it's worth it!-
Thank you so much, this track goes and stays in my personal top 10 sids of all time! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 4 November 2014
What pretty much everyone said. I wanted this looping twice or more right at the party, no matter da rulez :) | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 3 November 2014
It is very seldom I would say that a SID track is ready for a greater audience outside the C64 scene, but this track is "commercial finished" and ready for any air-time at any radio station in the world! I cannot help it, but I somehow thought it had influences of the danish artist Rasmus Seebach, but maybe it was more like I think this song would fit his voice perfectly :) Cheers and thanks for this song, GRG! | User Comment Submitted by Nocturnal on 31 October 2014
yes, should have won the compo, i love everything about this tune | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 30 October 2014
even if i deeply love Glenn's 6581 repertoire, this one is a breath of fresh air soundwise, and i do hope to see Glenn progressing even further in the 8580 direction :) | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 28 October 2014
Very, very interesting! It feels a bit more reliant on playful experimentation with impressive soundset than on actual arrange, and sometimes it would benefit from second sid for more layers IMO. ;-) Thumbs up. | User Comment Submitted by Slator on 28 October 2014
wow, great tune, glenn. 8580? wtf? :D
way too short... keep em coming, pretty please | User Comment Submitted by Aix on 28 October 2014
oh, and ... please add EXTENDED version in .sid ! :) | User Comment Submitted by booker on 28 October 2014
Happy to hear you exploring 8580. I'm sure we will hear more from you. Thanks! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 October 2014
Very interesting sounds. I miss a substance here. There is repeating theme but even though tune feels a bit inconsistent and I really miss one additional layer in arrangement. Still, I've enjoyed this much ;) | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 27 October 2014
Very nice party noise for sure! Love it! <3 | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 27 October 2014
My #1 in the compo. Really rocked the whole party-hall! Brilliant work GRG. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 27 October 2014
Awesome! Have been waiting for this tune to be released at CSDb to have proper listen at home. | User Comment Submitted by fenz on 27 October 2014
As spider-j wrote. I'd love to hear an extended version. The best tune in the compo imo | User Comment Submitted by Aix on 27 October 2014
should have been ranked higher :) | User Comment Submitted by Mr. SID on 27 October 2014
This sounded so sweet in the party hall! | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 27 October 2014
3 mins are way to less for all the nice ideas and parts in this one. Feels pretty much like a draft and I hope there will be an extended version. Especially the reset leaves me with a "wtf? no, please continue" feeling.
Awesome! | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 26 October 2014
reading all the comments I look forward for listening session as soon as I get quiet time around C64. | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 26 October 2014
Another mega-masterpiece of the music compo! Those snares! :P----- - - - - - drool! |
