Hello, Ozzy / TrisomicBoys is at the keys (aka Sylvain Labbe) one of the developer of Crazy cars 3 for the c64.. There is a funny story about the release of the ntsc version of crazy cars III :)

Trying to make it short, CC3 was the first and ever commercial title from the TRB known as the gamedev section of Babygang, we were coding demos but were also very active into the cracking scene.. Due to really short delays during cc3 production (1 month nd a half) , the lack of ntsc hw and without knowledge to do such a conversion. (the game has not been developed by Titus internaly but rather into my bedroom ^^) I got the idea to early release the PAL version to cracking boards because i knew there was a good chance that a cracking group will do the ntsc conversion job. ^^

And that's what happened few dayz later, so i took the cracked ntsc version, cleaned it up ( masked text and signatures from the crackers) and repackaged it for Titus!

This is how Crazy cars 3 came on the U.S market! lol

I hope you enjoyed this reverse-crack situation which i think maybe unique for the c64 but maybe also for the whole game industry ^^

As a developer it was so much fun to let crackers doing the job and ripp it off ^^ eh.. i was also a wellknown cracker myself :)
