Just my 2 cents after a while ;)
Absolutely one of the most original demo ever with top notch art material! I'm speechless. You did something really special and unforgettable. | User Comment Submitted by Raistlin on 18 September 2019
Just watched this demo again and, wow, it really is fantastic. Not just the graphics and music, though, the code here is very impressive too. A fantastic job all round. We need more like this! | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 28 May 2017
Just watched it again. Simply AWESOME PETSCII artwork! | User Comment Submitted by Sith on 5 February 2017
OK I'm not gonna lie; I always thought PETSCII was crap and never collected any demos because I thought the charset is so rudimentary and limited.
How you guys prove me wrong! These gfx have so much versatility and detail that I can't believe my eyes it's done with PETSCII! First demo of this kind I'm gonna keep. Yes it is THAT good! | User Comment Submitted by Sledge on 20 November 2016
Wow! This looks so good! I'm totally amazed! :) | User Comment Submitted by Slartibartfast on 18 November 2016
Haha, yeah I haven't used VICE in years! ;)
Superb effort, simply genius, PETSCII RULES!!! :D | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 18 November 2016
true drive emulation is on? | User Comment Submitted by Slartibartfast on 18 November 2016
Hrm it's only 3 blocks and nothing happens when I run it, what's going on? | User Comment Submitted by ws on 23 September 2016
the downvoting to remove it from the top 10 is strong with this one. destructive trolls are destructive. | User Comment Submitted by Stakker on 28 July 2016
So fine! Love the soundtrack too. | User Comment Submitted by ws on 27 July 2016
Other demos may probably be more technically advanced. But THIS demo is the most C64ish up to date and one can just see it. It deserves an Oscar. (Although i haven't been involved and i'd have some minor... but... anyways.)
G*P #1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111eleven | User Comment Submitted by Magic on 20 July 2016
Shaking within the top 10 demos at the moment :) | User Comment Submitted by finchy on 16 July 2016
Friggin' awesome! All you need is PETSCII! <3 So when's the next PETSCII contest coming up, hm? :) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 10 July 2016
Sorry that it took me so long to check this one out. Real life is kind of "interesting" atm, besides too many projects in the pipe to check out so many great releases without some delay...
Of course I expected sth lovely.
My high expectations were not disappointed. Uber-lovely :)
Especially the parallax scrolling part(s) work great!
Keep PETSCIIing, scene :)
BTW: many dudes were asking me to organize new CSDb standalone compo. Let's do this in a non-X year :) | User Comment Submitted by Jucke on 9 July 2016
Lovely journey into petsciiland! Loved everything about this demo. A demo like this must win! Petscii rules! G*P - thats my old group! <3 | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 8 July 2016
Nice! :) My vote goes to the robot at the Space Bar. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 8 July 2016
the resolution make it more real than the lame multicolor koala format... when you craft it with the skill-level of redcrab there is absolutely a new bar for realism and coolness... almost like this is much more beleivable than dithers and the flinkis flinkis best of the crops... just because the best are best with less... Fantastic demo... I take my hat and eat it two times ;-) | User Comment Submitted by user on 7 July 2016
Wow, cool demo. Redcrab's PETSCII Art rulez! | User Comment Submitted by ws on 6 July 2016 User Comment Submitted by Bob on 6 July 2016

truly 100% petscii was a very nice feat, mad props to redcrab for making it feel like it wasn't ;)
soundtrack is also seriously cool, when stinsen drops the beat... just great :)
flow, storyline and of course, the dancing alien topped it all off. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 5 July 2016 User Comment Submitted by Zierliches Püppchen on 4 July 2016
W.T.F. such a beauty in pure PETSCII ... great stuff! So simple, great design and lot of ideas ... cool, my Favorite was the dancer :D | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 4 July 2016
redcrab: can we borrow MSL typography for our purposes? :D It's lovely! | User Comment Submitted by Bitbreaker on 4 July 2016
The PETSCII is absolute ossom, i mean, there's so much detail in it, especially on the space bar scene with so many known and easy to recognise characters. Codewise however there's of course nothing outstanding, but the idea and implementation counts. | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 4 July 2016
true magic :o worthy winner!
(and thanks for the beautiful msl logo in the greetings part!) | User Comment Submitted by Erol on 4 July 2016
