the plasma is made of 16 different gfx lines in both char and sprite layer, totalling at 32 lines. these are redrawn each frame. impossible to calculate so many bytes on the top/bottom border ? :) We have a total 640 char bytes (16*40) and 320 sprite bytes (x expanded so only half). if each those bytes were calculated using only lda sta that would total in 121 rasterlines, add the 200 display lines where you can not calculate due to having to create the raster effect,and already at 321 rasterlines used... and we havent calculated yet how to display those lines...
