In my opinion, that's one of the best, if not THE best fire effect on C64. Very good work for a first demo!

The tune is also excellent! Light, easy, honest sid tune with super simple but very catchy melody. Not a showcase of technical wizardry and excellence, but just a really nice tune that is pleasant to listen to.

the fire routine seems pretty cool, a new aproach, seemed impossible on the stream.

Pretty cool story, very last minute entry, then! Fun little mini trivia: my 4K demo actually had the same READY-joke built in, but I had to scratch in in favor of more effects (O_o)

Great story behind this one; I met Dyme (the coder, it's not a group name) at the dinnertable the day before competition. He said he has been programming for a long time, but only two years on C64, in addition to those usual BASIC experiments as a kid. He didn't know anybody at the party (or in the scene in general) and was looking for a musician for his production. Fegolhuzz happened to sit at the same table :).
