In the "On the Edge" card-playing RPG, the Device is described the following: "The Throckmorton Device is a reality-altering machine that will be constructed almost ten years in the future - but when it was (is) created, it sent (will send) ripples back through time to insure its creation, slowly turning other characters into Throckmorton-controlled slaves."

..And when i run the memory-dump from the broadcast station in the end through my RSA-decrypto tool, you can see fragments of text saying something like: "triad666", "death to jehova" and "cancer in my diskbox". Quite puzzeling ;).

in the note there is a text that says "with special thoughts going to fairlight finland who taught us to keep quiet" and if you look into memory during the news broadcast in the demo, with the picture of the cats with floppies on their bellies, you will see text that says "copycats" and "fairlight". have a look at we control/fairlight, to perhaps get an idea what the fuzz is about

The Voice of Saruman.

"Another voice spoke, low and melodious, its very sound an enchantment. Those who listened unwarily to that voice could seldom report the words that they heard; and if they did, they wondered, for little power remained in them. Mostly they remembered only that it was a delight to hear the voice speaking, and all that it said seemed wise and reasonable, and desire awoke in them by swift agreement to seem wise themselves." (J.R.R Tolkien)
