MH accuses Horizon/NEC of stealing Mirage's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles +3 [us version] crack by sending out a patch to sysops that changes three files in the Mirage release, one of which is the NEC intro/trainer which of course replaces Mirage's. One of the other files appears to be the password crack and I'm not sure what the third file does.

IMO, this is a bit of an underhanded thing to do, but it seems like MH is saying that Horizon stole the crack itself which it doesnt look (to me) like they did. It looks to me like the patch is NEC's own password crack which is different from Mirage's. This just turns the Mirage crack into the NEC crack, since a majority of the game data is going to be the same anyway.

Mirage and NEC had a shitty relationship all this year, and this was certainly a result of that. IMO NEC's crack of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles + is legit and was not stolen from Mirage.

After this was released, MH had some sort of nervous breakdown and he apologized to Horizon and quit the scene (see Adios). It's a real shame too, as MH was an excellent wares collector and spreader.
