Not much is known about Mad Hatter previous to 1989.

Joined Mirage but made several independent import releases during his tenure.

Did heavy mail swapping, was a sysop and was known for having a huge collection. Where is it now?

Left the scene at the end of Nov 1990 due to the culmination of several disagreements with Horizon of NEC. This seems to have began when Horizon claimed, and Mirage admitted to, using a previous crack of Horizon's to help crack and release TV Sports Football days before NEC was able to. You can read MH's goodbye letter to the scene in Adios.

MH's exit from the scene may have only been temporary based on an import found dated May of 1991.
