Thanks for the positive comments. My main drive was to try to recreate that sped up Roland SH2000 lead effectively and it was done from memory so I would guess is not the most accurate (having watched the clip that was posted below form the BBC archive I know there are a lot of areas for improvement lol).

@saulc12 remember oldfields version is a cover version also. the very original is from 1958 and called "Barnacle Bill" . Dad used to work pass the blue peter garden to get to his bit of the beeb. Loved how he didn't know what a quantel was and the value of it, bless him.

there is clips of oldfield making this on "bbc archieve" FB page.. and youtube, if you are interested.. it shows him using tape to play the keyboard parts at halftime also. https://www.facebook.com/BBCArchive/videos/1348387395506122

From probably the most famous and longest running of all British kid's TV shows, my interpretation of Mike Oldfield's arrangement of the theme (which was used on the show from around 1978 to 1990.
