My favorite from the compo but I have a soft spot for Joe's art.

Just wondering what You mean by "usual stream of similar pics"?
Is it "usual stream of similar pics" of Joe's pics?
Is it "usual stream of similar pics" by C64 scene recently?

anyway. This one and the second one from Joe (with Shogoon music) I add to my personal list of masterpieces of C64 art.

I had the pleasure of watching Joe's creative process in action. It's almost as good as the finished product itself. Congratulations. This is so unusual what you're doing and such a nice break from the usual stream of similar pics.

i hate Joe's new style. to be clear, i hate it for setting the standards so high i can't even see them, let alone understand. simultaneously, i love Joe's new style for being so communicative and connective. you naughty Swede, you! <3 <3 <3

The gfx is outstanding, we get an "original Joe" here with a new kind of brilliance.
But also the code is really clever, so kudos for Luke/ESM for getting this sprite setting/colour change-fiddling right (it is really similar to what I did for some of Electric's pics, so peeking at the code gave me some deja vu feelings;)).

Great job Joe&Luke!!!

During the brief display in the compo, you could barely see the degree of finesse that lies in this picture. Very inspiring!
