For the followup animation I would like to see what happens when he tries to run in a straight line after Sarah Connor, right after he's been spun around like this.

Oh and thanks Didi for pointing out that Honcho is of course greatly exaggerating about the tune. And thanks TLF ;) I am sure that if you leave it on repeat too long, very soon it will start having the opposite effect!

Haha, Copyfault, very true! This time MEGA borders rather than no borders ;)

So this is what happens when Honcho decides to lower the total screen size ;)

Really beautiful animation, technically and aesthetically!

Didi, thanks for the positive feedback and glad you enjoyed it, that's what truly matters, even if you have another favourite ;)

I suppose that's what the voting is for at the end, for everyone to express their personal preferences, guided by any directives/rules from our compo-host Raistlin :)

Great animation and nice covertune. But I don't agree it's the best version of this theme.

That is one angry sprite. And so shiny! I love the lighting on this one, makes it extra creepy and 3d. And the variable speed makes it more exciting to watch.

P.S. I added the SIDFactoryII source file aswell.

Good shout, TheRyk, should have thought about that as easily added... Next time :)

wonderful and LOLed at dynamic speed, making it adjustable by user (key/joy) might have been an option, anyway, great as it is!

Absolutely great! With the layered sprites it is almost Amiga quality, but the Amiga cannot play such epic sid tunes! Great job Honcho and Youth!

24 frames, MC overlaid with two layers of hi-res sprites in a 3x4 grid to give the impression of a hi-res image with all greys, white and red. So 24x12x2 = 576 sprites in total with an MC underlay, running at various speeds topping out at 50fps. In case anyone was interested ;)

And the new tune should be listened to on 8580 if anyone has missed that.

For this compo, plainly an animation of our all time favourite, backed by an updated version of the best Terminator theme cover out there from the brilliant youtH - many thanks for stepping in on very short notice to help out! :)
