Looks and sounds perfect and plays really well... until it crashes.

Wow, absolutely love this. I always loved Scramble/Skramble and this just does it complete justice - improving on all the C64 versions immeasurably and making it so much fun to play (the older games didn’t age so well).
Brilliant, brilliant work. Sprites Only version next perhaps? :-) |

Fantastic port, and exceedingly well polished. :D
My only real minor issue is your front-firing missile reload speed - which becomes problematic when you try and blast your way through fuel dumps in the maze.
The only other thing bothering me is that Scramble has been done to death on the C64 already (although this is clearly the superior version). Maybe a follow up of "Super Cobra"?
But these are minor issues :) |

Just had the most insane deja-vu ever, and came to the conclusion, that without ever having checked, this might actually be the very first arcade game i ever played. It was on a funfair and it was a pretty frustrating experience since it was literally my first contact with videogames. I was like 6 years old.

this game is pretty much perfect, excellent gameplay, gfx, presentation, music, everything.

| Great! Skramble(by Terminal Software) for ViC20 was the first computer game I ever played on any system when I was in 5th grade or so. This is like a flashback to that time. With this new version it feels as new and fascinating (and even better) as it was back then. Thanks Mirage & the team! :) |
