You're more than welcome, and should check out the new FlexSID-1.1 version with important improvements:

My friend Hermit, solving problems with creating awesome tools <3
Now I can do music for 4K demos easily. Life is good :) Thanks bro'! 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by Monte Carlos on 23 February 2022
I think PAL emulation has some flair! | User Comment Submitted by Viti on 23 February 2022 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 22 February 2022
I'd only get rid of PAL emulation in win/linux builds, though ;) | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 22 February 2022
Seeing kindof the same SDL interface on the C64 was also a big WTF moment for me. Great! | User Comment Submitted by Krill on 22 February 2022
Not so fond of creating tinytunes in an editor+player thingy, but this
"The editor is written in C (and some ca65 assembly), compiled with cc65 and gcc
with a quasi-emulated layer on top of SDL1.2, and therefore runs identically on
Linux (compiled for 64bit), Windows (compiled for 32bit) and of course C64."
is pretty awesome and should be done more often for tools.
Cross-platform to the point of having a C-64 target next to the usual modern platforms. \=D/ | User Comment Submitted by Scarzix on 21 February 2022
Wow! that sounds interesting! | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 21 February 2022
Impressive stuff when size matters. | User Comment Submitted by Xiny6581 on 21 February 2022
Woohoo, now I can scratch my own little player thing and lean on this :D
Been playing around with this one for a while now and damned it's awesome! Easy and FLEXible ;)
Be prepared for bug reports :P
10/10 <3 | User Comment Submitted by DeMOSic on 21 February 2022
its alright for me! its kinda weird to use but i can see why. Maybe something like .sng to .flx would fix that? | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 21 February 2022
Wow! Need to check it out asap! 10/10 for the name already! :-) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 21 February 2022
Yeah spider already gave me a hint. 4x is fine for me :) | User Comment Submitted by Hermit on 21 February 2022
There is adjustable zoom-factor from 1x to 4x size, if that is what you mean. Free scaling is not my taste for fixed layout UI but might support more hardware. Maybe later with SDL2 which supports it and have up-to-date fullscreen support. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 21 February 2022
2x (or free scaling) rendering mode please <3 | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 21 February 2022
Aka. FlæskSID in Denmark and Skåne! <3 Lovely! | User Comment Submitted by cadaver on 21 February 2022
Very excellent, thanks for the release! | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 21 February 2022
Nice that it's released now \o/
This will surely be my "weapon of choice" for crack intro tunes from now on. | User Comment Submitted by DeMOSic on 21 February 2022
Niice! A TinySID sequencer! Ill be sure to try This when i get home! | User Comment Submitted by theK on 21 February 2022
Cool! Can't wait to check it out! :) | User Comment Submitted by Shogoon on 21 February 2022
Wow, Thx for this one Hermit! | User Comment Submitted by Hermit on 21 February 2022
Here we go. After a few months of hard work FlexSID is finally born. Just in time for the Tiny SID competition of 2022. Creating Tiny SIDs under 1K has never been easier, but be wardned it's still a hardcore stuff and the new concept requires a considerable learning effort on the user's side.
I hope some musicians will like it. I'm here if questions arise. (They probably will.)
I want to say big 'Thank You' for the few musicians who helped by testing and composing: Chabee, Necropolo and Spider Jerusalem (in the order they were approached) |
