And as of today, cRSID 1.0 is the heart of the new official SID codec in Rockbox[1]. Thank you a ton again, Hermit! Compile the newest version (or backport the patches) and enjoy!

Finally, I did my homework and submitted Hermit's and my cRSID-1.0 based SID codec to Rockbox. (Later versions are too CPU hungry because of the oversampling) I'll keep you informed once it gets applied.
