The game itself is meant for cartridge, no loading times. Sentinel challenged me to make the DISK version, I said it can't be done (mean's I can't be bothered). Then for giggles I ripped all the assets (205 of them) and gave them to Sentinel and said, it's very straightforward just add the loader at $02ef which catches X/Y ... divide by 8 to get your file name and go for it. Then I made an example with the KERNEL loaders on a D81, in VICE it was horrible and a real C64 with an SD2IEC was the same. Turning off TDI in VICE (think mini/maxi) means loading times similar to the cartridge version. Using JaffyDOS V1.3 Kernal for SD2IEC and a SD2IEC it's OKOK!!! Obviously a C64 scene 1st release needs a D64 version, so rather than analysing what file is needed when and positioning the files on multiple disks in an optimised way they are simply presented sequentially. I added the disk number on the change disk message to prevent horror, but you will need to change disks alot. It almost makes it unbearable. As posted on the boards, it's more a proof of concept. Enjoy it, criticse it as you wish.

In any event, support the DEVs and buy the original. https://www.protovision.games/games/yeti_mountain.php?language=..

The game might not be everybody's cup of tea, but it is a well polished presentation and worth a tipping of the pirate hat to the 1st time on a C64 developer too.
